Fun fact: our sense of smell works best with moisture as well as dogs (it's why their noses are typically wet) a white dragon having a "dry" scent should mean it's near impossible for (mammals at least) to sniff them out
Speaking of the lack of scent, according to rumor, the original Febreeze formulation was so good at removing scents from a room that it was off-putting to most people, so they had to develop a new set of fragrances strong enough that they wouldn't just be captured by the Febreeze chemical so the product could work more like traditional air fresheners... 👍 So yes, white dragons exude Febreeze chemical apparently...
I imagine that white dragons are pretty scary cause if a white is attacking you it has stalked you, observed you, and determined that you are the easiest prey animal in its proximity.
Planning on having a white dragon who is chaotic neutral and tries super super hard to be charismatic, with like bad jokes, puns self confidence and flirting, but he’s not very good at it and constantly will bother the party as they travel in the freezing cold, like there freezing there asses off and they just tell him to go away and he goes “ah c’mon stop giving me the COLD shoulder” 😂😂
the year of the Dragon continues! just as I continue to like and comment to show my eternal gratitude to the dungeoncast! it should also be mentioned as a sidenote that when it comes to parenting white dragons are lackadaisical parents. which might be part of the reason they don't learn to speak until adulthood. also I know I mentioned this a few months ago but I wanna mention it one more time. what about an episode dedicated to the various stories of ow dragons were created. I don't know everything so I think an episode talking about the different varying stories would be cool. like if I'm not mistaken at one point tiamat and bahamut we're supposed to be the same being split in half, in other versions their brother and sister, and I even once heard one version that states something about a primordial Dragon whos name I can't remember creating dragons which that's were it gets really confusing to me. also talking about that war between dragons and giants would be awesome. I'm curious as to how that started. I love white dragons. they aren't my favorite but I do love how the crest on their head makes them look so unique compared to other dragons. I had a dumb idea not related to the video. imagine in a futuristic setting you have a lich, but instead of being super evil and researching magic stuff he just sits in his dank dark lair all day playing online games. like his just sitting in his computer chair holding his controller, wearing his headphones and just chilling. that or maybe he'd be a troll talking crap to other players. lol fun fact in the game baldurs gate dark alliance, the major boss of the second chapter which takes place in the sunset mountains is a white Dragon named ciraxis. welp that's all for today. have a good day everyone! man I wonder how many people actually bother reading my long ass comments.
Just found this Channel-love the information on how to use the D&D monsters as well as the entertainment and humor-great channel! Old school 1st addition AD&D player slowly finally getting back into the tabletop gaming-with my son and his friends-nothing replaces table top rpgs!
20:30 it's like the red death from HTTYD, there's a bunch of Kobalds bringing him Caribou and wolves and people and one brings him just a rabbit or a fish and he eats both the Kobald and its offering.
I don't know if this was I'm the video and I happened to miss it or something but just in case it wasn't mentioned I'm pretty sure white dragons prefer freezing their food with their breath before eating it. I couldn't be wrong though but I'm fairly certain I read that in a monster manual.
My players are about to face off against their first dragon, this is their first time playing and I wanted their first dungeon to have an iconic boss monster, so the white Dragon episode couldn't have come out at a better time. Keep up the good work guys!
Hey Dungeoncast if you haven’t heard about it already I would highly recommend checking out the Unexpectables it is a DND show of some friends and two people from TeamFourStar I think all of you would like it by the way big fan
I want to throw an Adult White Dragon against my players: a team of Beastmaster Ranger, Wildmage Sorcerer, and Moon Druid. What would a good level for such a challenge be?
@@dorianrobinette9712 good, good, but I was hoping it be in the year of the dragon, with each one getting a separate video with them, and only the TRUE gem dragons
How possible would it be that a White Dragon is pushed in too submission by a Nordic Warlord, l plan on implementing a Nordic Warlord riding on a White Dragon and want to know how Legit that would be?
White dragons to me would be the dragons to me who would use weapons as there not prideful and arrogant so they would use what.they need. I also don't think they should be anti social they should be in like efficient hunting parties
to be fair when your a giant hulking muscular Dragon you don't really need to be in hunting parties as you can just hunt by yourself. that and not only is their climate suited for isolation but living in groups would probably be quite difficult as I imagine dragons would have to eat a lot to sustain their big bodies. and a group of them would probably hunt areas into extinction if they didn't have a giant abundance of something to hunt.
