I am one of those idiots that would used to Momir Vic for one. One game it got me a Rhys The Redeemed, which was AMAZING. Think about it, you can double all your creatures for 6 mana! Best game ever.
Why not do a learning video for CardFight Vanguard? Its a pretty unique gameplay system and i think yall would enjoy it would love to see more people interested in a game i have loved for 12 years
I'm 11 minutes into this and it feels like Ben Ulmer has grabbed me by the lapels and dared me to just try and not watch the rest of this. You win Bengineering. My attention is held and I am terrified of your work ethic.
I am posting this comment so that the RU-vid algorithm knows that I enjoy this kind of content, and would like to see more of it. Praise be to algo-rithm.
Momir Vig is a Ravnican who got a card in Discension, but more importantly he had a "Vanguard" on MtGO. It worked like this deck works, except it could pick any creature on the client. It was a very popular format in which your deck was 60 basic lands. Arena has kind of fooled around with versions of it, but in typical Wizards' fashion it's not anywhere near as good as the original and they put nonland cards in it. Zacama being like the only hit at his mana value made it just a race to BIG DINO. You lost if you went second unless you lucked into a mana dork.
Nice pleasant gift while working on Christmas after spending last night with my transphobic family. Thanks for providing something nice on this otherwise horrid day.
Momir Vig really highlights how important context is, cause Heliod and mazzy are probably both generally better creatures but Orzhov Racketeer was the best pull so far because it actually does something here
Ok, like 2 weeks late and I haven’t finished the vod so maybe it comes up, but I play Digimon TCG and want to offer a way for Pagumon to work. Digi-eggs are supposed to be in their separate deck and get played to a safe zone. You can have it digivolve and then later come out as a stronger Digimon. So let’s do it this way. At the start of your upkeep, you may reveal a digi-egg from your hand and exile it. Do this only if you have no digi-eggs or cards with digi-eggs underneath them in exile. At the start of your upkeep, if you have a card with a digi-egg underneath it in exile, you may play it without paying is mana cost. If you do, it gains haste. And, you may digivolve a digi-egg you control in exile into creatures from your hand. Activate only as a sorcery. As for digivolving, the bottom ability stays visible and relevant (like with mutate), and the card it digivolves into needs to be an equivalent of a level 3 (since digi-eggs are level 2). I would say a 3-cost card, but I would also say a grade-3 card would also work… What I’m saying is, I want Pagumon to digivolve into Mutsunokami!!!
Wheeler, at 02:40 : "It's no Winnipeg, Manitoba!" Me, without skipping a beat: "One great city!" (And if you get this reference, we'd probably get along well :D )
I JUST finished my fungus deck with a bunch of Fallen Empires crap, so if I wasn't already using my copy of Sarpadian Empires Vol III I would snap make a homarid/camarid deck
My friend and I ordered cards from Card Kingdom in November, still haven't arrived. In doing so, we had hoped we might get them before christmas. Fast delivery maybe, but not if you live in Europe. Not sure if any other europeans have experienced the same lackluster experience, but I at the very least haven't seen many other options for single Magic cards at a decent price.
Sorry to hear you’ve had a slow time with Card Kingdom. I’m based in Europe and have been using Card Market for a couple of years now. Cards come in multiple deliveries, but I’ve had no issues with any of the sellers.
I've ordered from CK a few times, and on all the intances, they've packed and shipped the cards quickly. The issue lies with the postal service and customs.. I live in the frigid North of Europe, and have gotten my packages from CK about 4 weeks after they've shipped them. Not much of a help, but I hope your package will arrive safe soon.
@@ChillingWithMorty True enough, it may be that the fault lies not with CK, but rather with Ascendia, whom ships across the sea to me, and then mine own customs and postal service, of those i know to lay a large portion of the blame. My dilemma is with the fact that i want to continue supporting LRR through their affiliate link, and get my button in the process. That against the seeming superior pricing and shipping of Card Market (though i dislike being sent loads of seperate packages). Thank you for your advice, and i did recieve a notification that it had arrived recently in my country, however, as previously stated, the customs office and postal service here in Sweden are worth less than the lint found in near the bellybutton.
@@kamikazehansu True, but I also want to support LRR, as I have for a few years now. Were it not for the fact that some of those cards are intended as chistmas presents, I wouldn't have a problem with waiting a bit longer, but there you are. Though as i said to ChillingWithMorty, it may be the case that the problem lies with Ascendia, and not CK, not to mention the customs office and postal service of my country.
That's not actually true - while damage can't be redirected to it if it's left the battlefield, the redirection doesn't go on the stack. So if you use Martyrdom to redirect all damage from a bunch of attacking creatures, like here, all the combat damage is dealt at the same time and is redirected at the same time, *before* state-based actions are checked and the creature dies.
@@ChangelingRain Why wouldn't the redirection use the stack? It's an ability that you're activating that isn't a special action, so it would go on the stack right.
