White Leghorn~ 8 week old Pullet and Cockerel 

So thankful for your comparison videos! This is my first time with chickens. We have 6 of them, 5 different breeds, so it’s hard to compare them to each other to determine roosters and pullets. Thank you for making these videos!

We have 7 leghorn hens and 1 leghorn Rooster 🐔 . Everything you've said about them is so true. We love our birds. We also have 8 Rode Island Reds. The leghorn birds love to fly but just 2 of ours actually fly out of the run and back in when ever they please. The other birds don't. They lay one of the best eggs I think. Chickie-Chick one year got out in below zero temperature with a strong north wind and we almost lost her. She only suffered a little frost bite on the ends of her comb. So she doesn't have the jagged points of a comb like her sister Saw-Blade . Those 2 girls are very close to each other. They are always together. God forbid if something happened to either one the other survivor probably won't live long due to sadness.

This year I'm going to breed my White Leghorn pullets with RIR cockerels. hoping to get a high producing s3x link. Have you ever tried this? Not sure if I'll put the eggs in the incubator or under my silkies.

Question. We have 1 leghorn rooster with 14 other hen chicken breeds with 4 leghorn hens. We recently had 10 hatch and all are white and some have small dark feathers on some. No dark colored chicks. Is it because we only have the white leghorn rooster. Any help would be appreciated
