I've been a fan for over 10 years now after listening to Bigger Than Us in the NFS: Hot Pursuit soundtrack. This band has literally been in most playlists I've put together since. I've played their tunes during joyous moments and devastating ones (I played Heaven Wait when I came back home the day my mother passed away a year and a half ago); Death is a song that reminds me of a girl I loved but that I lost contact with (and, as things stand, I don't know if we'll ever talk again), damn. We've been through a lot. I love WL and I love y'all here in the comments and those who blast their songs on a regular basis. I don't want to go to mars either.
As far as I can tell from analyzing the lyrics, the song harbours themes about wanting to fit in vs living your life the way you wish to. Everybody goes to mars because it’s whats “in style”, all your friends are doing it, but our narrator seems to be trying to convince themselves or somebody else to reconsider.
I have been listening the same music lately and revisted on Spotify free this on the white lies - wow. Still amazing since I first heard bigger than us years ago - love you guys

Personally I have felt how the bad has changed as I have, the eralier views of the world I had have changed over time and this band has been there for me over this years.
