While in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, we stayed at the AMC Highland Center at Crawford Notch. From the Center there were many hikes you could take straight from the Lodge. This video is our day hike up Mount Willard. This hike includes one of the few days it did not rain while we were hiking and backpacking in New Hampshire and along the Appalachian Trail.
We planned this hike a full year in advance to secure Hut space. Who would have thought we would be hiking in record breaking rainfall in the White Mountains National Forest, New Hampshire in the last week of August/first week of September. In all, we spent nine days hiking, and six days going Hut to Hut.
