If it works for your hair type ....it works for your hair type. Why should anyone be afraid to care for their hair in the best way possible? I oil condition my hair, use rhassoul clay and henna; i'm whiter than a maggot, but it's what works for me and my hair.

What oil condition did you use?

Girllll, you are being kind because my mother would've 😂😂😂 I'm ethnically mixed (mom is African American/Scottish; dad Italian). People need to really stop. I love your channel and your message. Yes, "white" people can have "ethnic" hair. I went to highschool with a girl who was Polish and Italian WITH the exact type of hair as this young girl in the video, except her hair was blonde. She kept is in a ponytail and braided. I went to elementary school with a girl who had the EXACT same texture hair, and OMG, she too was "white". Allah is such a masterful creator, snd you never know what he'll create in the womb, do can we please just admire the flowers that are in bloom (I relate people to flowers 🌺 because just as flowers come in s multitude of varieties, so do people).

The rhetoric ABSOLUTELY causes division. I have “ethnic” hair, but I am the whitest white lady that ever white lady’ied. I have one of your bonnets, and I’m getting one for my daughter also. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

The problem comes from classifying it as ethnic at all. There is no “black people hair” and “white people hair”; it’s made of the same stuff, and no matter what colour your skin is, your natural hair texture is your natural hair texture. Furthermore, hair textures can change over time! I’m white and my hair went from wavy to curly. However regardless, racism has fucked things up 6 ways from Sunday when it comes to this. The kind of racism I’m referring to isn’t racist action, it’s racist thought: thinking that differences in skin colour and physical appearance actually have real significance. Even the differences in medical care races display is not “inherent”, all humans are capable of developing needs based on adaptation. For example: white people are less likely to be prone to lactose intolerance due to the high amounts of dairy in our diets, and black people developed sickle cell type as a way to fight off malaria. These are not “inherent to race”, they are nurtured traits evolved over generations of adaptation. Heck, white people exist because Africans went north where there was less sun. We are all the same race, and our differences do make us special, but not exclusive. We need to foster an environment where people are accepted for all of their traits and variants; living by a man-made model of what is “normal” and what is “not” is the root cause of our social ills. Unfortunately, I largely blame the religious institutions that colonized the world.

@@ColdBaltBlueI blame them for much! Nothing divides like religion, politics or money. 🥂✌️

I know a black albino woman who gets told she’s racist because she’s finally embracing her natural hair. She used to shave it off and wear brunette wigs because she was afraid of the stigma but 2023 was the year to love herself and her hair. She’s thriving and her hair is gorgeous. Didn’t Michael Jackson say “It don’t matter if you’re black or white?” Well, hair doesn’t care what colour your skin is. Hair is gonna be however it wants.
