To be honest all of Tom's hook sound the same, he doesn't play with the pitch of his voice, hooks are just him saying something with the same pitch and adding a bunch of layers of other things. The chorus singers layer is sick asF but tom's voice being basic asf doesn't resonate..

ive heard Adam lay down some pretty insane cadences and lyrics on past tracks, but he did sound a little off on this particular track. Tom definitely had the edge in my opinion. Not really a huge fan of either tho honestly, but i know they can both rap. And Tom's hooks are definitely hit or miss, i agree with Stevie on that.

Which goes back to my original point though... It's all about perspective. The fact that Stevie is so professional is awesome. I think the main problem with Tom's hooks to many people is that he'll add tons of layers to fill up the entire vocal spectrum to sound full and chanty. What makes it a bit more unpleasant is that some of the way he annunciates words can feel off. I'm one of those that can definitely take issue with it in some places (especially here). But admittedly, it does work sometimes.

Tom was rapping. I fucked with the cadence. Didn't like the hook and Adam's verse was basic. Had it been as Stevie said, a harder hook, or even just another verse like Tom's 1st, it would've been a decent song.

Again, that would be groupthink and stupid. There are rappers who bring nothing to the genre but then you have Hopsin, Dax, and others that still very much spread a message as the original intent of the genre. "We'll be fine with EM?" So will I. Sorry, you don't just get to lay claim to anyone and say they are mine! Not how that works. I bump Em, like his older work, I bump Tom, Adam, Mesus, NF, Merkules, Church and a bunch of others too. The hooks for Church and many of his non-political songs have an entirely different feel (Church was a perfect example, but it's hardly limited to that one song)
