I can’t believe I just found a high peaks hiking channel! There is no place like the ADKs, our family used to go to lake placid a few times a year. Hiking in Vermont and attempting some of the 46ers in LP kindled a lifelong passion for hiking in me. It’s my dream to hike all 46, but until then (and while I wait for US-Can border rules to allow casual travel without tests again), I’ll follow along on your channel. Cheers!

Thank you for pointing out some of the intersections - - it came in very handy when I was doing this hike yesterday. One suggestion I would like to share for future videos that would help immensely - - could you use your skill/experience/expertise to describe how to deal with some of the trickier sections of the unmarked (and even marked) trails? For example, when I did Cliff a few weeks ago I had to just take my best guess for how to ascend and descend those cliffs. I know there are many similar sections still out there as I am only at #25. I know your climbing skills far exceed my own, but any input would surely help a great number of hikers safely navigate these trails. Thank you.

I go to school like 6 hours away from the mountains and it makes me so nostalgic to see these videos. I miss my mountain home

I miss being able to up in the middle of the week, it's so quiet up there. haven't been up to the high peaks since July (marcy skylight and grey for sunset) on a Tuesday and the Loj was filled up by 8am. how has it been with the foliage? I'm guessing you don't do much hiking on weekends
