love the energy between you two, soo good to see moose out there in a few videos now. I know ive said this before, but are there any bad courses you guys play? another beautiful one here.
Love playing courses in the mountains! Just played Apple Mountain this past weekend! Honestly have never heard of this course, but I’ll definitely have to check it out! “Mark says to never use the 60 degree…” I wanted to hear the rest of that because that’s my favorite club around the green 😲🤣.
Yeah Apple Mountain is a good one. Yeah we hadn't heard of it either until we drove past it heading to another course like a year ago. You could tell it was a little dry out there but what can you expect when it was just 100 degrees that past 2 weeks. Mark says to never use the 60 degree 60-110 yards and dont swing it hard like what moose did, use a 52/54 degree and have more control with it.
Way to go Moose! Get ya some! Tight match so far! Love the layout and the landscape! Wish I could just roll out of bed and head to that course. Look forward to the back 9!
Just got back to GA from the Graeagle, CA area. Elevation in the valley is 4500’. Loved your normal blue skies and the view of Eureka Peak from the range and the first two holes. Not sure yet if you played The Dragon, halfway between Whitehawk and Grizzly, it is 500’ higher and each tee box frames one of the mountain peaks in the area. It’s my favorite. Despite some bad reviews from last year, it is in great condition this year. We played Whitehawk July 23 and could see the smoke from the Dixie fire way off on the horizon. As the afternoon went on we saw a couple huge pyrocumulonimbus (Hey, I looked it up.) mushroom clouds file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/cb/11/F1F9B30F-8554-4893-B8E2-550A74DAEE95/IMG_0017.jpeg towering above the smoke. By Sunday the whole valley was very smoky.
Dang thats nuts. Yeah we played Dragon last year. Fun course also but greans were in pretty bad shape. Id want to play white hawk and grizzly ranch again when its super green and in top shape
