Whitesnake has been a part of my life for 40+ years and they still have more talent in one band than these new bands will ever have. David Coverdale's vision back in the 70's was to have a band worthy of his first band Deep Purple and he has managed that in droves.
First time I saw White snake was in '88 ...I was in 8th grade and a few friends and I got a limo and we got so wasted I had to practically be carried to my seat but I remember the whole show and had the best time! And thanks to Tawni I have her exact color and style of hair to this day👍🤘💋
@@davidwhaite3330 Yup, that's why Dino is in the band. Check out Dino's work out elsewhere. He's carrying Coverdale more and more vocally live. Dino is a top drawer vocalist as well as keyboards
I've never understood why back in the Vai/Vandenberg era they never played the Crying in the Rain solo like the album version. Both players surely had the chops to do it if they wanted to? Great to see Reb (and previously Doug) playing it just like album version.
@@Lispurefoy Personally I prefer Doug's version. Actually, his playing style and sound are quite similar to John's. Reb on the other hand, is more of a Vai player. Finally, Hoekstra, has all the above. Tremendous guitarist and from what I've seen, he can play pretty much everything, and without effort!!!!!
All guitar players after Sykes are bad ass on their own and the bands they came from. John was perfect for WS. John and Reb had the most impact on me as a guitar player and a bit of Campbell as well.
Thanks a lot for uploading. First time I went to a rock concert despite listening to this type of music for many years. Bought the tickets last minute and could only get the one in the highest seat on the left side not knowing the damn cables and metal rods would be in the view... I later noticed plenty of better seats being empty... Guess i Should have looked over tori or huuto to check for the tickets haha.
DC got away with a hell of a lot for a couple of decades, and couldn't have done it without Tommy and the others. But DC and WS left a legacy and body of work they can all be proud of.
At age 72 Tommy Aldridge still plays his drums like they had an affair with his wife. Dude is amazing. He really defines giving 110 percent. What an inspiration. Look up hard rock drummer and the first picture you see better be of Tommy Aldridge.
I don't really remember when vai_/ played in whitespace I was always on black ???? U know what you mean well but it took years for me too get off the chiva !!!! I destroyed my life 🙃 🙂 now I've been clean since 2019
@@1pessorock1 Thanks for answering. But you don't do that anyway, do you? When I had a flu the years before I never went out - that was for sure... ;-)
