This song came out when I was a teenager and I've seen Whitesnake twice in concert, the only two rock concerts I've ever been to. The first time was in the fall of 1987, just before I went into the military. They were the opening act for Motley Crue. Even with all of Motley Crue's special effects, backup girls, and spinning drum cage, I think Whitesnake had a better show. They just had stage presence and could connect with the audience. The second time was just a few months later in 1988 when I was in tank school. This time Whitesnake was the headliners with Great White opening for them. This was another fantastic show with two great bands that knew how to pump up the crowd.
Saw them with Crue in New Haven CT '87. They blew MC away. Tommy Lee ended up swinging from a rope and falling, breaking his leg,and the show ended early. I've seen various incarnations over the years. They are touring Europe atm with Dino Jelusic having joined the band on keyboards and vocal assist.
That was Tawny Kitaen dancing in the video ❤️ She was a TV actress from the 80’s & did a few big screen movies as well. At the time she was married to David Coverdale the lead singer. RIP, she passed this last May at 61 years old 😢
This album came out when I was 17. My friend had a brand new Pontiac Firebird GTA. We went to Wildwood N.J. I remember going 140 miles per hour listening to this song. It's a memory that pops into my head from time to time. What a great time. The album that this song is on, every song is a banger!!! Has to be in the top 10 metal albums of all time.

But if you were the age you are now, in 1987, you wouldn't have liked this type of music, other people saw it as LOUD an AGGERESSIVE or IN YOUR FACE! but it wasn't like that, but that was how we were seen! 🥺 30 odd years later someone like yourself goes..This is good!
