I went out last Tuesday with the tractor and started clearing some trails and also mowed an area for a small plot and got my feeder setup on one of the properties. 95-100 degrees already in Oklahoma!
I like to mow before spraying tall weeds like that. Seems to kill better when you spray the shorter weeds. Keep up the hard work, it’ll pay off in the fall!
Just wondering why you didn't bury the blue water tank to the rim? since it's on a bit of a slope, don't you think it could self fill a little when it does rain? I understand your limited on equipment for a tank that size though. And, as long as it's working, that's all that matters. I was just curious.
Great question. The main reason I didn’t bury it to start this year is because I know of other guys in the area that have had good luck with not bury the larger size tanks. If I want to in the future I might change my mind. Once thing I have noticed though that the water temp with it not being buried appears to be warmer. So if I do decide to bury it in the future that may be the main reason for making the change.
Thank you. These are the tanks I used in the video. www.fleetfarm.com/detail/behlen-country-625-gal-poly-round-stock-tank/0000101741574?bc=11798%7C11799%7C11807%7C11812
