Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking the Nantahala - GAF Day 1 - David and Kathleen's Return 

As the Greek philosopher Heraclitus wrote, “No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.” It was Kathleen Lawrence’s grand return to the Nantahala after quite a while & David Wendorf’s triumphant return after recovering from a very serious motorcycle accident. Needless to say, we were all very thankful to share the river together. These folks are like family & there was no shortage of laughs and good times. We also ran into lots of other friends while out there. The NOC's yearly Guest Appreciation Festival aka GAF certainly did not disappoint.
