Great review on barefoot shoes . This is what a real straight to the point review is. Explained pretty much the basics in less than 5 minutes without terrible music and fancy footage outside walking by a set up camera .
Very well. Been over a year and they’re pretty much like new. No holes or wear and tear inside. No color fading (black). Not the best choice for wet / marshy / muddy areas but for casual everyday use, very well.
I wear them with toe socks it's pretty nice feel, I do love the price it was a good deal, definitely worth it. It's my 2nd day wearing them, and I like them already.
Had them over a year now, wearing literally everyday and I'm impressed that the sole hasn't worn out, and the inside isn't all torn up like some other shoes i've had. good stuff!
Thank you! I also have the Lono Flow shoes, which are about twice the cost. They fit a bit more snugly which I didn’t think I’d like, but have grown to appreciate 👍
Nice review! I’m looking into zero drop shoes but I like having an arch support, do you think it’s possible to remove the insoles and insert a custom orthotic or it would make it too bulky given the minimalist structure of this type of shoes?
I've been wearing whitin's barefoot shoes for over 4 years now and feels very nice to me. I noticed I walk and run like a feather after wearing their shoes. Most importantly I like paring them up with a Japanese construction graded knickerbockers. Some kid in the harlem here in the NYC thought I was a IRL ninja 😂.
Just stumbled on slow jogging videos and while looking for cheap running/jogging barefoot shoes i saw these. They were $33 on Amazon same color as yours so I thought what the hell. I get the slow jog concept as when i run in shoes vs barefoot it's different ie barefoot i land on the balls of my feet naturally where with normal shoes I land heel 1st. Will be interesting to wear these and see how they feel. This is 2Am youtube leading to me buying shit i didn't know id be interested in on Amazon 😂😂
@@ReviewWithMatt Ah ok, thanks! I saw a couple of reviews saying they make a sort of squishing noise when you step but I'm going to give them a try anyway.
Great they worked for you. Personally the toe box was wide but the width in the middle was too narrow for me and the bottom had not enough cushion. I returned 2 pairs back to Amazon in 1 day.
Thanks for the insight! Definitely takes some getting used to. I have somewhat narrow feet so haven’t had any issues with the instep. I can see the cushion not being sufficient for some, though I’ve grown to like the balance these ones provide.
Xero Shoes has become a hype and more expensive than they deserve. Worse still, they don't last long as they are supposed: the 2 warranties they offer are really limited: the 5,000 mile sole warranty doesn't cover the mesh and seams (the glue they use sucks, pun intended), and the second warranty only guarantees against manufacturer defects.
