Yassss for the longest time I was always trying to place who Whitney favored... And one day I was watching a rerun of Get Christy Love and I said that's who Whitney looks like. I remembered Get Christy Love as a child, before Whitney was even thought of and finally putting the connection together, that's Teresa Graves is Whitney's doppelganger. Same smile, eyes, lips... That is how our parents were back then. I would get a bare hand on my bare butt or sometimes worse, my dad would pull his belt off. He didn’t always use it, it was more just to scare me but I did get the belt across back of my legs once trying to run away while he was trying to spank me with it lol. My mom had it worse though, she used to have to go out in the yard and pick a switch off the tree to get spanked with and if her parents didn’t think it was good enough then they would pick one for her 😮😬
In Robyn Crawford’s book (Whitney’s early girlfriend/best friend) she talks about how cold and unpleasant Cissy was as a person through & through. I never got good vibes from her even before I read the book.
Whitney is laughing here about it but many people talk about how cold hearted Cissy was as a mother. I think it was just Whitney’s normal & that’s why she doesn’t see that side
Actually Cissy wasn't cold hearted that is her only daughter she was extremely protective as many moms would be especially since Whitney was so precious and she knew Whitney was kind and could be easy to take advantage of, cissy said she knew Whitney was a star and special and wouldn't be here long that's why she tried to protect her. I wish yall would stop making up stuff Whitney absolutely adored her mom and her mom spoiled her it was her father that betrayed her.

She had Julia Roberts type of potential. It's too bad she met drugs. I hope her tragic ending can be an example to young people considering trying drugs.
