Black artists had crossed over way before Whitney & Michael Jackson, but the magnitude of what they did in the 80's & 90's was just a whole other level of superstardom. I can't imagine the pressure they must've been under to uphold that squeaky clean image.
FireMadeFlesh II You rocked that comment man. I've played random clips of Whitney all of tonight and couldn't stop thinking (in addition to your points) the pressure she lived under to delivery topnotch live vocals on a nightly basis. Imagine Worldwide tours for decades where your voice is the main (maybe sole) musical attraction.. Every night. Not the Band. Not the Choreography. Not the Lights Spectacle. Big Props to Whitney. Always been a fan but now with new respect for her Career accomplishments and will to endure for so long as she had. Love & Peace to Her, Eternally.
What an honor that would’ve been. Can you imagine? Being invited to stand next to Whitney Houston on stage while she sings “The greatest love of all”? I’d be bawling lol
@@snowy6623 Wait are you a troll or it is really your dad. And if that's correct, then could you explain me how was his experience and how was all? Thank you.
@@ertfgghhhh so what you didn't watch 80's commercials that much, or not much television viewing in your household back in the day? This ad was so damn popular back then, along with MC Hammer's Coca Cola, Lionel Richie's Pepsi and Michael Jackson's Pepsi too! Get off calling me Gargantuan...
@@ninobrownish 1. Never saw mchammers soda commercial. Do remember the bk one 2. Never saw thus particular whitney commercial but have seen other one 3. U call urself nino but dont know the line i quoted? Miss me with assumptions
Fun Fact: this commercial was actually supposed to be filmed with Chaka Khan but she & her brother had gotten into a bad car accident. Luckily Chaka only walked away with a scar on her arm. Leaving the commercial to Chaka’s good friend Whitney “THE VOICE” Houston!😁
source??? I do not believe it..Pepsi Had Micheal and cococola had Whitney the biggest black stars.. Prove it...Whitney adored Chaka and even revered her but just stop with this lies..
I Hope when I accidentally enter to the backstage and they recognized me a usherette I give a drink to Whitney and she allows me to enter on stage with her so cute
I wish they never faded away the artists of the past are til this day better then music today is. The world isn’t the same without them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
About 422 million people worldwide have diabetes, the majority living in low-and middle-income countries, and 1.5 million deaths are directly attributed to diabetes each year. Both the number of cases and the prevalence of diabetes have been steadily increasing over the past few decades. On an average, it takes approximately anywhere between 1.5 litres to 3 litres of water to make 1 litre of Coca Cola.Jun 24, 2020
