This song is One of the Best Live performances I have ever watched. Whitney Houston is so outstanding vocally in this song that is stuns me. I feel so blessed to have seen her in concert live in 1991😍 it was the best singing I ever heard live and no one has beat that since then. I loved how her live versions were so different. She never rushed through a song
How she slips into that sweet and soft head voice after that belted and growled passage is just inhuman to me… I mean no singer I’ve listened to can do that like her. Her control is everything.

For someone of your generation to be showing Whitney this kind of respect and acknowledgment is a beautiful thing to a Gen Xer like me, who grew up with her music from the very first song. @@_daereol5919 Absolutely not is correct. How dare someone tries to speak such blasphemy. Whitney’s version will always be the best there is. Plus there’s other versions that overshadow that Dave persons. I mean there’s Luther’s version, Marvin Gaye version, Beyoncé, faith hill and so many others.
