I agree with you on this. Whitney really Loved the Lord with all of her heart. She left this world worshipping and Praising His Holy name. Kim Burrell made a statement that Whitney made her last phone call to her before she passed. Kim said Whitney was playing John P Kee's CD in the background and worshipping the Lord. So I believe she's definitely in The arms of The Lord. I don't listen to the negative things that people say about her because I know better.
It's her spirit...No matter what burdens she carried everyone loved her spirit!!!...No one says anything bad about her...I just really feel and love her spirit!
I hate how I am one of those people who don't realize what I have til I lose them, cause i miss her so much and I feel bad that i didn't appriciate her more when she was alive and I don't even know her and I feel her warm spirit with me every day. R.I.P. Forever and longer Whitney Houston.
I'm so tired of every idiot claiming she was high in every interview. She's fine in this interview, smart, intelligent, and articulate. Also, Whitney's speaking voice has always been worse than her singing voice - she said it way back in 1987. SMH at all of these newly minted Whitney fans who haven't followed her career and claim she was always high when she gave thousands of clear, coherent, sober interviews.
I swear Ive learned so much from this lady. Her intelligence is so inspiring to me. I love her realness and humor. She's a Leo like myself so I identify with her so much. Ive never met her but shes been a light in my life since ive heard her voice!!! Nothing but Love forever for you Whitney!!!
You know what, I loved Whitney and I respected her as a woman. I also respected her ability to make her own decisions in life. She was no different from any one of us who are bosses and make our own decisions. Now, I would preface that with this, Bobby wasn't good for her but it was her decision and you got to respect that atleast. If you look at all of Whitney, her heart, her triumphs, her struggles, you can see a little bit of yourself in her.
Whitney loved , LOVED the lord. YOu can tell because she is passionate about love in her faith. People may think shes high, but honestly, she radiated the purity of jesus.
Thank you SOOO much for posting this interview - a view of Whitney when she is happy in her life, in love with her daughter and comfortable with an interviewer. Intelligent, articulate, thoughtful, grateful, and real - all rolled up in one CLASSY lady! She really seemed to remove the "image mask" and just be herself. A pleasure to watch!
Lol @ 3:16 Whitney shows her little girl side when asked about her mom. She knows better cause Cissy would handle that. I miss u Whitney so much. I will always love you!
I cried for 3 days after I learned Whitney passed away.I think of her every day,& not a day goes by that I don't t wish she was still alive.I refer to her as the girl with the golden voice. I love u Whitney.
exactly....especially when she developed nodules on her vocal cords during the Bodygueard tour in 1994...she didn't rest her voice and she was in so much pain but she kept on singing...Cissy taught her daughter to be extremely tough in the music industry...Around 1995.....her voice was still phenomenal but with the nodules..it got a little darker....she said around 1996 or 1997 was when the drugs got worse after The preacher's wife..her voice was still phenomenal..around 2002-2003 was when it
i get joy hearing her talking about bobbi kris i pray she is okay .. i pray that she doesn't get caught up in the evil things ppl say about her mom .. but seeing her on oprah she is well grounded in the lord & her mother taught her so well .. whitney said her self she stayed in her pajamas for months just to see her daughter off to school & to come back when school was out she didn't care about all the fame she was a mother & she meant it ..
I will always luv Whitney Houston she was such a beauiful talented lady with voice of angel that will be so greatly missed! I still can't belive that she is gone it just dosent seem real she left us to soon even though we all loved her God loved her best! having these video to watch of her is such a great comfort to me and her fans! Whitney no matter what they say about you i will always love and respect you!!
I agree with you. I'm a brazilian girl and after seeing some of her interviews I think the same. She was in drugs before Bobby but in a light way (what was bad also), however I think if Bobby didn't what he did with her and if he had took care of his life and career, she had stopped with drugs. Unfortunately, she loved him more than herself and it seems than her daughter. I still love her and I miss her so much.
yes it was a good interview i want you back whitney i miss you so much whitney. thank you everything you give to us so so so many good memories to trust for the rest of our life R.I.P MY QUEEN WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU MY SWEET ANGEL
I don't think either of you need help, your being honest Whitney Houston was and always will be one of the greatest singers of all time. It's been very hard for me to understand why this woman was taken so soon. she had so much more to do here. I miss her very much can hardly wait to see "SPARKLE" R.I.P WHITNEY I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
Whitney came here and she conquered. She had a voice as big as the sea...that enchanted us all. Left us some of the best music ever. Left her wonderful likeness on film for us to enjoy and celebrate her life with when watching. I don’t look down on how she lived her life, it was hers to live! She enjoyed the party and had fun...then came that dreadful clock out time 2:11pm. (2012 hours). I only cry because I miss her presence in the music industry and times like this when I get a glimpse of her magnetic personality in interviews or on film. She’ll be back one day...and if it’s during my lifetime, I will recognize her in a heartbeat and we’ll all recognize her when she sings for us once again.
@tinky3ful This is your mother. Listen honey don't worry about what people say or think about you. You were just misunderstood. Let it go and don't respond to stuff like that. I love you and that's all that matters. Let it go baby girl.
Best interview from Whitney .This is the real Whitney the way she talk about parenting .Cissy did her duty as a brilliant mum. ''STANDARD IN MY HOUSEHOLD '' If my mum says she will whip you ,she means it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whitney sounds like she was going to be a strick mother. Not so sure of that seeing how spoiled Krissy is. But this was a great interview and Cissy seems like someone you don't want to mess with. Lol
I don` t like the fact that some people think that she´s high in every interview. Even when you have a drug problem you are not high all the time. Some people takes drugs multiple times a day and some people are doing drugs way less. Even if Whitney is high during interviews that does not mean that she was not a good and kind woman. Whitney was beautiful and she tried to be a good woman, take care of her daughter and being faithful to her marriage to Bobby Brown. I love Whitney, her personality and her amazing voice. Even now when she`s dead her music and her voice will live forever. :)
It was just so hard to sell MILLIONS of copies in those days. You gotta have real talent to achieve that milestone. Unlike today, we got Spotify, RU-vid, iTunes, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, to name a few, to have you exposed. But back in those days, it's just You, your Talent, and a good recording company.
Have to agree with you. My prob with B.Brown has always been thay he is just a sorry excuse of a man and a husband. I wouldn't spit in the face of my worst enemy. It's just nasty. When i first heard she was marrying that. My heart sank. After he started beating her down emotionally & physically, she started escaping more. It's no wonder she said she just wanted to love and be loved like Jesus loves. She was talking unconditional. That man did a number on her with his mugly ass.
@VivWardRegBevWil I feel the same way. They just haven't followed her like most of her real fans that adore her have. I guess they've heard alot of bad publicity about her. I looked over that for many years. I don't think she was high. I've seen interview with certain celebrities high and they can't answer a single question correctly. Even if she was, so what. Everyone struggles with something in there life at one time or another. I bet they couldn't last for 2 min in her shoes
@ 8:46 when the reporter starts talking about how great Nippy & her mother were great singers then she ask if Bobbi Kris is starting to sing is too funny because she didn't mention Bobby Brown being a great singer as if she forgot he was one of the hottest artist in the 80's.
