Fact is that Whitney even at her worst is way better than most at their best, many put on a show, but only a few can truly sing.

She was indeed sick at this concert. She was pissed you can tell. Can you imagine though, singing that good while being ill...unreal. She went back next year to do another recorded concert in Japan 1991 and she was ON FIRE!! vocally. As if it could be better than here. That's when she did the song "In Return" that you reacted to.
