She was the number 1 voice her voice was heard all over the world live unlike Areathas! That was political and rolling stone don't decide for black music, they were and was founded as a rock magazine! Not a pop and rnb mag! It's really bothers me how theses publications that turned their nose up at black artist our Whitney can have a say in her ranking when they are not experts in her genre! This includes rap music and other mags like billboard!

Hello! I know this is unrelated but a youtube channel called 'Real Musics' has a video called 'rare Whitney Houston performances' and at the end he shows professional footage of Whitney at radio city music hall 1993.
