Whitney was such a passionate woman who wanted her husband to feel admired and loved, like many other women. You can literally feel the raw emotion, the passion and the love she has for him. One of the greatest renditions I’ve ever heard of this song. She really did that.
Wooowwwww! I have never heard this song performed more beautiful than what I just heard now! It literally made my heart tingle. I felt that. RIP the incomparable Whitney Elizabeth Houston!
Yoh I felt the same and I listened and watched this for the 10th time with the same effect with tears in my eyes very beautiful indeed I wanna feel like this
this was absolutely adorable, very sweet. She sang her ass off, you can tell every word was coming from her heart. Regardless of what anyone says, I truly think these two did have some serious love for one another. The way they were looking at each other, I melted
I saw Whitney in concert 8 times up close in the mid 80s. I met her and talked to her twice in Lake Placid and Saratoga and gave her roses both years she performed at the NY state fair. No doubt she is the greatest female singer of all time. Not even close!
@@chill...2753 She was beautiful in person and was very nice to me and my girl friend. She looked like her music videos and her persona was cool as ice!!Peace!!
Whitney had the ability to outsing any other artist's song. "the greatest love of all" "i will always love you" and "you make me feel" are some of the examples. NOBODY could outsing whitney in her prime, NOBODY, however, she could outsing anyone.
This is the best version of this song I've ever heard in my life. My second favorite is probably Aretha's version. Whitney is probably the greatest singer.
I was there... I saw her performances that night and I remember clearly as if it were yesterday. When she performed a song called "Jesus Loves You" everybody ended up crying out loud because that performance was more like a religious moment of devotion and blessings than a pop song performarce... That Rock'n'Rio performance was the best Whitney's career performance. I feel blessed for giving myself such an amazing gift... She was impecable! Yeah I cried out loud too myself! She was worth it, every drop of my tears of joy!
Whitney Houston August 9, 1963 to February 11, 2012 (age 48) Aretha Franklin March 25, 1942 to August 16, 2018 (age 76) Life is transient. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
Whitney didn't have the super high upper registers of Mariah Carey or even Aretha Franklin but her range was enough to do any song. I see many Lambs in comments saying Whitney couldn't do a Mariah Carey song. What they forget is that Whitney could re arrange the vocals of a song on the spot and by the time she finishes singing it you'd damn near forget who originally sang it. A master vocalist. Let me also add that you felt every word she sang. If the listener can't feel it all you have left is just beautiful sounding notes.
This is real real REAL love right here. They both entered a different world, they didn't care about the audience, cameras, backup singers, all they saw was each other. I strive to has passion this strong for a significant other in the future. Say what you want about Bobby and Whitneh, their feelings for each other were 100% real.
that;s not love but the opposite :( She sang to him the hanger that she felt for him....the guy who ruined her life :( love is not violence, love is love, violence is just violence....she was trapped as too many woman into a violent man....look at her eyes and her ironic smile....look how she turned to the audience to sing the real meaning of the lyrics...and not to this guy... Anyways, she was a wonderful singer...with a horrible life ...as all the women who be beat by their "guys" :(
jProd Just because drugs and alcohol or even violence was involved doesn't mean that love was present. God is love & he heals all wounds, they just had some bad habit that caught up with. If they both got some good spiritual gudience & chose to get clean together maybe things could've worked out...but we will never know, won't we?????
I think I can understand what you mean Dawn. Of course "nobody knows", it's just my personal deduction. Because I read in her eyes when she sang "Look what you've done to me..." ... I don't read "love" but "anger"... And because i know a lot of couple who live this "kind of love " what you talking about....I know man who beat his woman.....and that's not love, that's a disease for me....There is no excuse to beat someone....that's just mental disease...neurosis....but of course it's a hard to make the diferents when you live inside of this relationship. Yes maybe he "loved" her...because she stayed with him...where everybody will ran away to save his life, she stayed....It's an hard thing for me to explain (in english...cause i'm french)...and hard to explain in my own language too.... ;) If he loved her as you said, he would love to protect her....from his violence and go to consult a psychiatrist....take time to resolved his own troubles.... Excuse me to say that, but I don't believe in any gods....and if there were a god, do you really think that he would love and accept to see his "child" beating each other...and do you really believe that he would call that "Love"?? No of course......I don't have "a god gudience...I drink alcohol...take some drugs (sometimes)...but I never beat a woman...and will never beat a woman, even if I'm drunk, or stoned....violence is violence..."Drugs and alcohol" are not an excuse to beat somebody...and "thinking" as you said excuse the responsibility of the Human kind....of course he was responsable of his act.... I'm sorry Dawn, but I will never excuse a man that beat a woman...or the opposite too....and they use the name of "love" to be hide and be excused. Anyway, thanks to answer to me and to tell me your point of view, cause it's always a very interesting discussion...ans it could maybe help some other people in the same kind of relation ship.
jProd I'm pretty sure the violence in their marriage went both ways, they were both in the wrong. The passion in Whitney voice came from God, he anointed her voice. That's how she were able to make people feel what she was singing. I'm sorry that you don't believe in God, it will be 19 years in remission of ovarian cancer. I was giving a year to live, but yet I'm still there. You have no idea what you are missing out on. Whitney had her demons, as all of us do. But, knew she God & he loved her & her daughter. Her suffering it over all now...
I'm pretty pretty happy about your remission Dawn :) about the other points..."we don't care"...Whitney was an amazing singer ...and we all agree with this ;) And I forgot one thing: "Happy new year to you and all the people that you love, family, friends and more" :)
2:32-2:42 is my absolute favorite part. I keep playing that part over and over again. You can just feel the raw emotion, the passion and the love she has for him. Bobby Brown was no saint, but I don't blame him for what happened to Whitney.
Поёт как дышит Поет как живёт Поёт как рыба в воде А за этим стоит многолетний труд. И многие часы репетиции, она большая трудяга, большой талант Любимая💝
Who told you that, everybody isnt going to Heaven some or in Hell.People always say that you better pick up a Bible and start reading, there's a Heaven and a Hell for a reason.
cant help but to smile. you know she meant every single word... that was a one on one performance .... so glad we have this to remind us of real raw magical talent.
I love Whitney. She was trashed and still sung on key and with so much emotion for Bobby. Then she walked right off stage telling her staff “see I told y’all I could still perform, dammit”
That man loved that woman. Anyone notice he took his hat off? She always talked about how people didn't know how much of a gentleman he was. A man removing his hat in the culture has always represented chivalry. He had respect for this woman. Especially during this time. They were madly in love.
Believe or not, it's not in this generation not even 100 years from now that you'll get such a kind of talent. We have lost the greatest of all times and it makes me feel bad as natural woman
This was better than Aretha's original version. Not many artist can out sing Aretha but Whitney gives Aretha a run for her money. I think Whitney took Arethas style and made it better. Her voice was just out of this world.
I beg to differ. Just listened to the Original Aretha version. Arethas is the Gold Standard. It can't be topped .Whitney style is a little over the top. Aretha paints pictures with her voice. That is transcendent . Almost divine . Whitney is a technical marvel . But not really transcendent. Listen to Arethas original again. I'm a grown straight man and she made ME feel like a natural woman!!💋
Before the day I knew you, my life seemed unkind, but you're the key to my peace of mind. I'm no longer doubtful for what I'm living for, as long as I can please you, I don't need to do more. I dedicate this one to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ🙏🏿
Their love for each other was without question. Look at how they looked at each other. I felt every word she sang to him. Look at how he bit his lip near the end too😏
Wow....the way she sings those first few verses, I’ve never heard something so pure and beautiful. Such an amazing tone. Rip beautiful the Whitney Houston 😭❤️
I can't imagine how he must feel looking back on this today. Though she is with her Savior and he has a new family now that type of earthly love never dies, it only moves on. ❤
Amazing!! The Voice!! I wish Clive wouldn't have forced her singing pop so much instead of r&b and soul her voice always sounded so much richer singing the classics. You always hear how much she respected the greats that came before her
She died before her time she had one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard 😢💔 it breaks my heart to know what really happened to her. She could take someone else's song and make it her own she just didn't realize how powerful her voice was she is truly missed. R I P. Whitney
Wow really miss Whitney it really breaks my heart that she couldn't never conquer her demons but her struggles and battles are finally over and her soul is at rest 😢
The pain over the loss of Whitney is so visceral, even today. Hard to imagine grief we all shared. I believe from watching them, she loved him but in loving him there was too much pain. Not sure if that makes sense. Rest Whitney and Bobbi Kris in our Lord's perfect peace. We will be together one day in glory
Looking out on the morning rain I used to feel so uninspired And when I knew I had to face another day Lord, it made me feel so tired Before the day I met you Life was so unkind You're the key To my piece of mind 'Cause you make me feel You make me feel You make me feel Like a natural woman (Woman) When my soul was in the lost and found You came along to claim it I didn't know just what was wrong with me Till your kiss helped me name it Now I'm no longer doubtful Of what I'm livin' for And if I make you happy I don't need to do more 'Cause you make me feel You make me feel You make me feel Like a natural woman (Woman) Oh baby, what ya done to me (Whatcha done to me) Made me feel so good inside (Good inside) And I just wanna be close to you (Wanna be) You make me feel so alive 'Cause you make me feel You make me feel You make me feel Like a natural woman (Woman) 'Cause you make me feel You make me feel You make me feel Like a natural woman (Woman) 'Cause you make me feel You make me feel You make me feel Like a natural woman (Woman)
She loved Bobby so much. You can feel it it just this one dedication to him. I wish Krissi had lived, we basically the same age... I wish she got to reach 25.
Bobby Brown was one LUCKY man! Having WH stand there and belt that song out to you meaning every single word is something that just can’t be matched! ❤️
I think even she was too young to be Whitney too, her super-stardom twinned with her self doubt took it's toll. I'd say it's a shame but we still got these incredible moments.
Whitney really loved herself some Bobby Brown. She sung that song with so much passion , you could just tell that she meant every word that sung, it came straight from her heart. Yeah she meant it.
