Download pattern here: homewoodspirit.com/free-whitt... Hello whittlers, Let’s go back in time to ancient European medieval ages and whittle this Swordsman. Enjoy this whittling how to guide.. Vladimir
I just started whittling this past Christmas when I asked for ideas on a hobby that I could do that would be fun, relaxing and inexpensive. I was given a whittling starter kit as a gift. I've only made about 9 carvings so far and decided to follow you along on this one as it would be the most complicated that I have tried thus far. I just finished it last night and I am so happy how good it came out. I just need to paint him. Your tutorials are great. Thank you for the tips and lessons. I will be carving along with you much more.
Very thorough and thought out approaches, Vladimir. Doing armor will be a new item for me and very interesting. Historically I enjoy the medieval history and now can introduce it to my carving. Thanks, Bill
I have really enjoyed your content. I think the most important thing I’ve learned from you so far is your slicing cut. It’s definitely helped to improve my carvings. Keep up the great work! Cheers!!
Another great demonstration, thank you, Vladimir. I have just downloaded the patterns and had already bought the wood from the same supplier you mentioned.
I'm a beginning whittler who also participates in historical re-enactment. I can't wait to try carving this and show the results to my buddies in the group!
nice project! i was really looking for a knight carving video so I can build an army for my kid and nephews :D. Moreover it happens to have the exact walnut hollow basswood package that you were talking about. I bought it a few months back and never use a piece. Thanks Vladimir.
you have made my day💞Great project and great tutorial, Step by Step perfectly explained♥️Thank you very much for this video♥️knigts are my favorite thing in wood carving👍keep this work♥️Subscribed immediately🤗i'm happy to discoverd this chanel, always will be happy to see new videos👍have a nice day😉
I understand getting lost in the carving. Recently I was carving the eagle head you did and I got the beak mostly done, and in my head I was saying "just a little more". Let's just say there was no more beak after I got done.😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
