It's actually quite simple - Veldora wins in both the anime and the current light novel version against Diablo. No disrespect to Diablo, he's undeniably powerful, but you have to recognize that Veldora holds a significant advantage as a true dragon. Not only is he a true dragon, but he also possesses the most magicules among his true dragon siblings, making him even more formidable. True dragons are at the pinnacle of strength in the series, and regardless of Diablo's age, Veldora surpasses him in power. Spoiler alert: Veldora currently ranks as the 11th strongest in the light novel, the original source material. While Diablo is certainly one of Rimuru's strongest subordinates, Veldora would defeat him single-handedly. This doesn't mean Diablo is weak, as he has some incredible hidden abilities, but ultimately, Veldora would come out on top.

Diablo's ep i.e 6,666,666 is what he showcases. His actual ep is much more. What's scarier is the fact that in the world of tensura, efficiency matters more than ep. And Diablo's efficiency in magic is 2nd only to ciel.

This is more difficult because why veldora is more powerful than Diablo. Even at the end of the series where Diablo got stronger, Diablo is more skilled than vandora. So if I had to guess you know Diablo might be able to win by compensating with his superb skills to make up the difference in power. But we're talking like Diablo right after he got named. Then definitely veldora because the gap of power is just too big at that point

Man..diablo's overall power and his ep doesn't make sense.zegion's ep also didn't make sense but later it's revealed that his actual ep is 68m+.I hope diablo also gets something like that.i mean bro was casually fighting zalenous with the mood to kill him if zegion doesn't recover in time.114m zalenous vs 6.66m diablo😮.just so you know,zalenous is stronger than veldora,so maybe diablo can hold his own against veldora.but in underworld or otherworld,diablo cooks veldora☠️

Why some of you doesn't look on the perspective of the author using noir as a special piece in tensura laughtrip. Veldora have much more power then any other being, but diablo also have a very powerful ability he is hiding. In volume 22 we will seen the hidden ability of diablo. i hope diablo was control his mana number because he respect rimuru very much. in volume 22 we will seen the fight between diablo and felway.then we could judge diablo vs veldora .

Veldora Negs Diablo, and it isn't even remotely close The only advantage Diablo has is being smarter,more experienced, and a better fighter than Veldora But that's practically useless against a powerhouse like Veldora It's like Putting Perfect Cell against Kid Buu or DBS Broly Diablo isn't even a digital lifeform,and Veldora was going toe to toe with Ashura, something I highly doubt Diablo can do

Well to be fair, we have not seen how powerful Diablo in any of the series. I would think he would still win given the battle experience he accumulated. Though Veldora is powerful, he only risen when he met Rimuru. He might over power Diablo but knowing Diablo, he would resort to something unconventional tactics. That's what I think but I can also see a draw fight.
