because mitsubishi gave jackie's team like 20 cars to trash during the film lol. if a car got one side fucked, they used it to film scenes from the other side that was still clean.
@@Maniacguy2777 Not even the worst part, she engaged the parking-brake to stay in place, but all 4 wheels were still spinning (Mitsubishi Evolution all-wheel-drive.) Then released the parking brake and easily drove away. LOL. what was holding the car in place?! The parking brake did nothing lmao.
This film, along with the WRC and Gran Turismo on Playstation is what tought me what an "Evo" was! 🤩 On watching this now, I notice that the BMWs change, from a stock 318i on steel wheels at the start, to some kind of M-sport model with alloys from 3:38. Also if you look at the end after the car has smashed to the ground the inside of the boot lid suggest that car was originally red!
I saw this film years ago when I had never been to Rotterdam. Now, after watching this masterpiece again, I can spot familiar places. It’s really cool to know that I’ve been there.
Back in the day, that was one of my favourite car chases, and with a legendary model too. Pity it's kinda obscure in the grand scheme of action movies.
i love how no one gonna talk about the same white civic sedan apears like in every single corner since 0:05 showing its the fastest car in the whole chase
