Since 1986, Amaravati Buddhist Monastery offers Sunday talks during the traditional three-month rains retreat which runs from June/July until to the full moon of October.

Perfect explanation of the Self - whatever you think it is - it isńt! I prefer Ramana maharishiś teachings but also Ajahn Chah and his disciples. That is great talk.

"The ego is like a president/political leader affraid of loading power, it feels threatened". Thank you for that! Is funny that I was just reflecting on "where" a fully enlightened being "goes" after reaching enlightenment? In a way, previous talk helped a lot to continue that reflection.

I am not sure of the answer given to the question at 1:17:45 as to ‘who the recipient is of results of good and bad karma ‘ if at the bottom of it all there is no person - or Anatta is - Who actually receives the results then ? How can the law of karma identify that person if there is no person to reward or punish for the actions ? Can someone please advise ?
