Nath yogis was first to reject caste system in Hinduism & promote equality of all caste . The Nath yogis prevented a lot of conversion in other religion .

When lord shiva was explaining, kaula tantric practices to paarvathy MAA, a fish nearby was listening to it... shiva blessings made him reborn as "machamuni"; a.k.a. machendranath....gorakhnath ( gorakkar) was created through siddhis of machamuni.... through ashes
