What a wonderful overview of the Lay Dominican community. I’m very interested in becoming Lay Dominican, I interact with Dominican Sisters here in Kentucky with our Catholic school and teach OCIA. Thank you for taking the time to post this on RU-vid. God Bless!
Regards from me, lay Dom from Jakarta Indonesia...thank you Tom... this recording is really helpfull for me....and we are do the same too here....warm regards....❤
A lot of good info! I think if it was broken up into several topic videos, it would reach more people. Just that public speaking training in me speaking up. 😅
good day to you! I am from Gainesville Florida and works as a nurse. I am interested to join the Lay Dominican. Where is the nearest chapter close to University of Florida. Thanks. I have tried reaching out to different chapters here in the US but unfortunately there was no response. Thanks and I hope to hear from you. God bless!
If one were to want to pursue becoming a Lay Dominican, would the local parish have to have an affiliation with the Lay Dominicans given that the local fraternity is some distance away to make frequent attendance?
I'm not sure what you're really asking, but my situation is such that I travel a little less than 2 hours to the next **diocese** to attend. My local parish isn't affiliated with any religious order.
If you have a smartphone, you can download either BrevMeum or iMass. The latter also has the daily missal for the TLM. There is also this website: divinumofficium.com/
@@mick1gallagher The Catholic publishers that I am aware of do not use their profits in a malicious way and many don't make that much money. Used booksellers on the other hand are more focused on the profit margin and who knows what they do with it.
@patricknugrohohadiwinoto5361 I just looked it up. It seems he was both. My priest is also a lay Dominican & Franciscan, so I guess it’s not that crazy, especially for priests.
