Ranting about bringing down the Anglo-American regime and then immediately attending a rally flying multiple US & Qanon flags is a hilariously accurate show of these people's convictions
I have been an American born person in Germany for 4 years. Trying to tell people the same thing happening here is the same as in america but keep being told I'm crazy. This country refuses to learn. It's sad. I truly think it'll end horribly for europe. 😔
@@infernalstan886Until the other side gets in. Looking for utopia is a fools errand. Many have tried, all have failed. Democracy, as flawed as it is, is optimal.
If the general populace feels they can trust their society, then these groups will remain on the fringe. This is why leaders in the public and private sectors must work hard, and be sure to put citizens ahead of their personal ambitions. Otherwise, as has happened many times in the past, these fringe groups will recruit the disaffected. Because at the end of the day, the greatest threat to humanity is greed. And the greedy tend to concentrate at the top with devastating social consequences.
Sure, but the problem is far right party don't tend to respect democracy and don't like to leave when voted out... Hitler took over the whole country after winning only 33% of the vote and never gave up until he died in his bunker... Donald Trump didn't accept his loss in 2020 and still hasn't. Putin has faked every election since 2000, Lukashenko stole the election from the opposition in Belarus 2020. Erdogan has used every institution of government to imprison, undermine and destroy the opposition and so has Victor Orban…
Post-WW2 Germany is just... a mess. Europe didn't really bother to get rid of the nazis in west germany, instead reintegrating a deeply shocking and horrific number of them, and the USSR didn't really bother to rebuild east germany. Each one did better at the thing they actually tried to do, but... This still left the modern reunified state of germany with the worst of both problems.
It's a question of balance. When immigration is too high then the indigenous population may feel under threat and vote for such parties. Democracy is fragile and if politicians are not careful then they can weaken our democracy through high immigration.
@@Dona-fu9zh if you only need 1 elected MP to have the same amount of power as a party with 100 elected MPs, you're leaving yourself really open to foreign influence not just from the US but also from Russia and China etc.
The US can't stop Germany from doing anything. We can't even get the worthless krauts to spend enough on defense. We should have let Stalin have the entire country.
It won’t just be Germany if crony capitalism(fascism) keeps doing what it’s doing to the common man. We already see it in many areas of the world and it will keep growing the more the deprivations grow.
The thing is they don't see Capitalism as it's truly is. Right now It's far right political parties that are riding anti-capitalist movement. Even though History has shown that fascism and capitalism are very good allies.
So it’s democratic to conduct surveillance operations and backgrounding on a political opposition, based on the assumption that because they are growing in popularity they are a threat to democracy? Interesting take on democracy right there.
This is going to be much worse in the coming years, as the Western economies and their population start to shrink, these ideas will emerge more strongly.
I will express a hypothesis, the reason that the fanatical far right hasn't found fertile ground within Australia, is because of the stop the boat doctrine, embraced by both parties.
While the genuine far right should be condemned, this piece of journalism is just a left wing hit piece. Cramming in and linking everything under the deplorable umbrella as they can - rather than actually asking why people feel the way you do, what concerns they have and where common ground could be achieved.
They use far-right as a label to diminish anything that doesn’t fit their neo Marxist agenda. Mass immigration is destroying these countries and the people are waking up and mobilising against it.
So let me get this right - it’s ok to have far left wing but it’s wrong to have far left??!! I think any extreme in both direction is absolutely wrong. We need more centre aligned parties as they can openly hear both sides of the argument. These far left and right extremists have no place in our society!!
Personally, I think that whether you are right or left on the political spectrum ,people have lost confidence in the pluralist democracies of the West. Our politicians, since the age of the internet and alternative news sources, are running scared because of their corruption, lies, war crimes and greed . People are reactionary and they are reacting to the power of government, big business and the lies that they establish as "the norm'. We are ,in my opinion, at a crucial shift in the zeitgeist of people. These people going far right is the same as going far left. The people are fed up with the double talk of politicians, fed up with the rising cost of living, fed up with war, fed up with gender politics distracting us from the stuff that REALLY matters- war, economy, racism, poverty, injustice. I wonder what sort of world my daughter will be living in 20 years from now because I truly dont believe that the powers that be will be able to maintain their pseudo democracies.
Agreed, extremism is a pervasive problem on both sides of the political spectrum. Some but not all of the problem is the there is (rightly) a magnifier glass on right wing extremism and left wing extremism is largely ignored. As long as this happens, right wing extremism will continue to get worse.
@@000Dragon50000 at least since WW2, most groups opposed to the US tend to want roughly the same thing no matter the label they're given - greater independence from US influence
I have been predicting this for years. When that Ukraine shit happened I said it’s just going to accelerate it and I was right. While every one else was tripping over themselves to put Ukrainian flags in their social media profiles i saw what the natural end was going to be. They were going to start to look at these Ukrainians, even though they are white with no resources and ask when the hell are these people leaving? As the energy crisis gets worse and more industry decides to leave the country or go out of business it’s going to get even worse. If anybody wants to know how these things work out, you will understand that hungry and angry people don’t make rational decisions. I wondered how long it would take for a Hitler in waiting to rise and it seems that you got a bunch of them that are ready to take command. The next few years are going to be ugly.
These groups don't say they are occupied because they believe it. They say so because they want to be free of the rule of law imposed by the state that holds their worst urges at bay.
@@infernalstan886 No, I just study PolSci and make inferences. All extreme Political groups despise rule of law because it prevents them from using force to acheive their extreme goals that otherwise couldn't be possible in a liberal democracy based on compromise.

Behold, the glory and freedom of republics. The Enlightenment Era was the biggest mistake in human history. Everything is done in the name of "the individual" which amounts to being powerless to removing morality and ironically freedom of speech and to bear arms.
This is all super-uninteresting. These people are provincialists with a narrow mindset. They always existed, previously they just didn't get all this undeserved attention.
As a German I am equally disgusted with these people as every other empathetic and rationally thinking person would be. Unfortunately there has been a rise in far right groups and parties in every European country, e.g. France and Italy. Though I do understand that given Germany‘s history this development is more concerning in Germany as in the other countries. These people are still the minority, but very loud and aggressive, therefore earning a lot of attention in the media. Given my experience with encounters I had with them they lack education and are holding onto ignorance and conspiracy theories. This doesn’t make this any less frightening.

The pendulum has swung too far to the left and now there is a swing to the right to bring equilibrium. This is a natural & healthy process as long as intelligent & open debate prevails. The State itself needs the grass roots sentiment of the Common Man and Woman to function properly.
This is such a stupid take - pretending that extremism can be justified as part of some natural "pendulum swing". If you were truly rational then you would present a rational position and not literal (see the video) tin-foil hat conspiracies. People justifying "the other" for their extremism - such as your comment here - are a significant part of the problem today.
