one cool thing that could have happened in metal sega, would be if there were 15 legendary bladers, the 5 bladers of the solar system would still be the same, yuki wouldn't be left out, meanwhile damian would be a legendary blader just because of his ancestor like You gave an example in a previous video, Damian would not be a blader from the solar system or the 4 seasons. Now instead of 4 bladers from the 4 seasons, there could be 8: tsubasa, julian, dashan and nile.
I mean this is the same Kyoya that pushed Gingka to his limits, but honestly? Idk what training Doji was on because Doji between Forbidden Bey and his last battle with Phoenix was an INSANE power diff.
@@neonthunder3261no training he simply was not taking any of his matches seriously including kyoya and gingka Full power doji has a good chance of being above yu
I would put tsubasa at number 4. When he lost to Phoenix I don’t think he put any serious effort because his main mission was to stop the dark nebula and saved his full power special move for ryuga. By doing that he became the very first blader in the show to counter Ryugas dark move.
Yea tsubasa had grown a lot after taking phoenix’s advice and preparing for his battle with ryuga. Ryuga at that point was practically invincible and his battle with tsubasa showed everyone he wasn’t the unstoppable monster they all imagined
To me the arcs are as follows: Metal City arc (1-10). Forbidden Bey arc (11-18). Survival Battle arc (19-23). Road to Battle Bladers arc (24-39). Battle Bladers arc (40-51).
Tbh ryutaro beating teru in battle bladers was for the plot. Teru didn t really have place since he wasn t too close to gingka and The rest nor with The dark nebula so yeah.. It s really a shame cuz i think he would put up a great fight against ryutaro Maybe even win it
To be fair Teru's bey's strength was that attacks from sides and above don't work on him that's why Gingka had to create storm bringer to attack from below but Ryutaro's bey hard counters that as Pieces can just throw you outside the stadium without even touching you directly. If you can't understand how Pieces works immediately or you aren't lucky enough like Gingka to accidentally counter his special move it's quite tricky to beat him
Wasn't Kyoya also the first character in universe to get to 50k points after winning the free for all? I think that's a pretty solid argument for him being above the other people in that battle at least, like and if the narrative was trying to give Ginga a "fall off" arc with him losing back to back, having his rival "surpass" him here would make sense
Great video Tho I think u could make the argument for Battle bladers Tsubasa being above Doji and possibly Phoniex (depends on if and how much stronger Tsubasa became after episode 39) I say this as though he still lost in the end, tanking Ryuga’s dark move which was the strongest attack at the time isn’t something most characters could do. In fact the only ones who ever survived it were Gingka and Kyoya
You also need to keep this in mind that Tsubasa could do that because he has experience against that move because of his previous fight with Ryuga so he could form a perfect strategy to counter that
I’d actually argue that Doji is stronger than Gingka for the majority of the Fusion until episode 39, where Gingka beats Phoenix. It’s shown than Doji is actually relative if not a bit stronger than Phoenix, only losing due to Saggitario's piece being lodged into the fusion wheel of Wolf. Doji was deffo holding back against Gingka when they first fought. How is Kyoya above Doji in the early arcs also? He got destroyed by him twice.
This is actually a really fair argument IMO. I think Doji definitely held back against Gingka, especially given the fight against Phoenix being almost as if not more intense than a lot of Battle Bladers. Doji definitely deserves his top 5 ranking, but top 4 is far from unrealistic.
@@neonthunder3261 I think Tsubasa is stronger just by virtue of defeating the Soaring Bitestrike, but pre battle blader Tsubasa might’ve gotten washed by full power Doji.
Kyoya was above him because these were power rankings based on what we saw in that arc only. Doji was stronger for most of fusion, but he didn’t really prove it until the phoenix battle. And by then I think Kyoya passed him
@@wildfangedits6630 that really shouldn't be a factor in the discussion. You should really base it off of how strong the character is at the time of that arc. Doji in all likelihood doesn't train and was probably THAT strong from the get-go. Even given that premise, I don't see how he was possibly weaker than Kyoya during the forbidden bey arc. Doji destroyed him twice.
Doji only beat Kyoya in episode 11 because Leone was damaged after losing to Pegasus if this was the full power Leone that fought gingka in episode 10 the battle might have been closer
11:27 W opinion but phoenix is NOT stronger than doji. doji was supposed to win against him the only reason he lost was because of that tiny piece of sagittario getting stuck in dark wolf which wasn’t supposed to happen
Idk how to feel about Tsubasa being 6th while kyoya 3rd at the end I felt like they were pretty equal in terms of power, tsuabasa also did well against ryuga But i personally would put phoenix 3rd I dont remember how strong doji is sadly but i'd put kyoya and tsubasa around the same spot
I recently rewatched metal series so you can count on me Kyoya being 3rd and Tsubasa being 6th can be explained as 4th and 5th are Phoenix and Doji who were not there in battle bladers so Tsubasa was only next to Kyoya in battle bladers and it was clear from the very beginning that Kyoya was stronger based on his fight with Ryuga also him earning 500 points in tournament while Tsubasa earning only 370 and Tsubasa was quite shocked to see Kyoya with so many points also Tsubasa being unable to beat Kyoya even with him going in his dark mode for some time . Gingka is just not smart enough to answer such questions but if you look at these facts then it was clear from the start that Kyoya was stronger Regarding Doji's strength he should be at 4th above Phoenix since he was manhandling Phoenix their entire fight until a part of Sagittario which was struck in Dark Wolf from Doji and Kenta's previous fight backfired So Doji has to be 4th and Phoenix oneshotted an exhausted Tsubasa so 5th for him and 6th for Tsubasa or he can be interchanged with Reiji depending on your opinion here and why I think Kyoya should be above both Doji and Tsubasa is the kind of fight he put up against Ryuga made him go in L Drago mode and lost only when Ryuga used the stolen power while Ryuga was always seen as Dark Nebula's #1 with or without stolen powers
I mean Tsubasa won against Jack without any special training after getting out of the hospital. The stadium was even designed to help Jack. Japan would still win.
Hey there, 3 months ago you made a video about how Yu was forgotten in Metal Masters, can you make a video about how he was forgotten in Metal Fury, pls? I have a lot of thoughts on that, and I'm curious to know what other people think about it. Thanks.
I agree with pretty much everything except for Kyoya being #3 at the end. I think he was honestly the strongest blader in Metal Fusion in terms of raw ability and power. Ryuga most likely would’ve lost had L-Drago not carried him. Either way great list and I can’t wait to see Masters and Fury!
I would put Hyoma above Tobio because Hyoma's dodging skills are second to none, and also Kyoya took Hyoma way more seriously than when he fought Tobio (yes Kyoya would have got a fair bit stronger by this time but Hyoma would probably have increased his power by a similar level)
Honestly imo kenta was at least 10th in battle bladers, he put up a great fight in the quarters against the n7 and even if it is with yu's performance tip it was still against an opponent that kicked yu's butt, so saying that he's 9th or 10th feels fair
Curious, WildFang: Do you have any “what if?” matchups you wish took place during MFB? Could make for an interesting video concept in the same vein as EvanNova95’s Versus Series, though probably on a smaller scale
Do you think ep 40 gingka could defeat rp 40 ryuga by using blader spirit like he did The final battle before The dark Power took control( i m assuming that ryuga can t get possesed yet since he didn t steal hikaru tsubasa and kyoya spirits and didn t have that much energy)
Kyoya can't win against the dragon emperor. Kyoya in Battle Blader can take a tie (like Gingka VS Kyoya in metal master) if L Drago didn't control Ryuga
How is phoenix under Tsubassa he literally destroyed Tsubassa really quickly I also think that doji should be above Tsubassa but other than that good ranking
@@Amali70_4 sure nobody is beatin ryuga and rago for sure but i feel like in comparison to tyson gingka has more plot armor. Not to mention the type of damage they do in the OG series is no where near the type of damage they do in the metal saga. I say theyll probably only be able to beat kyoya
@@pjusttheletterpreally.noth2995 Kyoya was slightly superior to Ryuga without the dark power and L-Drago saw that and that was the moment he took control of Ryuga.
Kyoya 3rd and tsubasa 6th is not hapenning , in the start of masters masamune asked gingka who is stronger and gingka said he doesnt know so i would say tsubasa is also 3rd along with kyoya
It's because 4th and 5th are Phoenix and Doji who were not there in battle bladers so Tsubasa was only next to Kyoya in battle bladers and it was clear from the very beginning that Kyoya was stronger based on his fight with Ryuga also him earning 500 points in tournament while Tsubasa earning only 370 and Tsubasa was quite shocked to see Kyoya with so many points also Tsubasa being unable to beat Kyoya even with him going in his dark mode for some time . Gingka is just not smart enough to answer such questions but if you look at these facts then it was clear from the start that Kyoya was stronger
@@user-fu2jj3pl3o yeah but whose power had Ryuga even stolen by that point? Only fodders like the Kumade brothers, Tobio, the twins, Hikaru and Tetsuya so I don't think it would create that big of a difference but yeah it would still make some difference
I agree with every ranking, except for Battle Bladers 10th position where I think Teru is no match for Kenta or Benkei I would put Benkei because his new special move forced Kyoya to use a new special move so I think it's more impressive than Teru. And he crushed Capri with ease And I think that Yu could beat Reiji if he knew and directly trigger infernal judgement, technically he wasn't defeated at the end
Gingka at #1 is laughable. He literally needed Hikaru Tsubasa and Kyoya’s power + the power of friendship to defeat Ryuga. He damn sure ain’t above Ryuga and I would even put Kyoya above him in that last arc.
He beat Kyoya soundly twice. Him being at 1 is not laughable. And did you forget ldrago was using other people’s power as well. In my eyes gingka is the strongest thru most of the arcs. Kyoya never takes one in my opinion.
You Ryuga meat riders never cease to amaze me, Ryuga literally stole the power of Kyoya, Doji, Hikaru, Tsubasa, Tobio, Gemeos Twins, Komono brothers, dark nebula elite squadron bladers, Ryuto(based on him using metaphors), and maybe even Reiji. Stop being a hypocrite.
I feel like hyoma beating benkei was plot and the battle with Kenta didn't really count since Kenta defeated himself hyoma never used his power to win against Kenta so I don't think he's stronger than both benkei and Kenta
By the end of battle bladers the top 5 should be 1. Gingka 2. Ryuga 3. Kyoya 4. Reji 5. Doji Reji is stated by Doji to be Dark Nebulas #2 blader which would put him above doji. Phoenix only won against Doji because of sagittario weakening wolf so Doji > Phoenix. Tsubasa should be below Doji because he lost to phoenix right before the arc started, and imo tsubasa shouldn’t have gotten that much stronger from right before battle bladers to the quarter finals.
No Sagittario did not weaken wolf that's cap. He beat both hyoma and kenta with barely any effort 1. Gingka 2. Ryuga 3. Kyoya 4. Phoenix 5.Tsubasa/Doji 6.Reiji
Tsubasa lost to Phoenix pre battle bladers, but went on to defeat the Soaring Bitestrike. I think by that point he was stronger than both Doji and Phoenix.
I would say that the power of friendship is a huge part of Gingka's identity. His ability to empathise with others (he even understood the feelings of Kyoya's Leone) and to learn from them is, in my opinion, almost a unique power of his that cannot be separated from him whenever he is being discussed.
