@@neptune7160 Arguably best up smash, very fast down smash, broken aerials, braindead reflector, generic unbeatable nair, laser that eats campers, high priority side B, an up B that goes very, very far, is a fastfaller so he can throw out roughly 30 of his kill move aerials per second... He literally has it all, his only arguable "weakness" is his recovery, but it has enough ways to mix it up anyway. HBox puts him in top tier, as do I

Lucina is really good, but she doesn’t have the same *broken* options as the other top 10 characters. Like, she’s all around good, but isn’t broken in any way like characters like Joker and PT. Frame 1 invincibility is almost there but it’s very punishable if you miss. Still think she’s better than Roy tho, they’ve played too much WiFi

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but Pikachu is overrated he is good top 10 but he isn't the best if he truly was the best we would see a lot more people playing as him and winning tournaments, I have never seen a game where people say a character is broken and very few players play that character like we had Meta Knight in brawl and Bayo in Smash 4 actually played all the time.

@@bocaj71491 the problem with pika is a lot like Shulk. You have to play that one character and maybe one secondary. They are so different and complex to the rest of the cast. It’s why so many more people play Joker and wolf. It’s just because their game plan is a lot easier to execute.

Much like Snake or Melee Fox, Pika has crazy numbers of options and mixups so when you can actually process all the things you're able to do for the situation and pick the correct one, Pika can outplay basically every situation. Even their disadvantage isn't Shulk level but it's the next best thing. Esam's been playing the character for like 15 years and is still labbing out matchups and options; if everyone else decided Pika was the best it's still a hyperbolic time chamber session of just quick attacking away from reaching their ceiling.

I would like to see a "max potential" tier list. Like if inconsistent characters were consistent. Sometimes I get destroyed by an "inconsistent" character, but that doesn't matter in the moment cause they worked at max potential at that moment. How good would someone like Marth be if they were more consistent?

They are sleeping on Pyra and Mythra. Mythra is Sheik with a sword so actually good. Her damage and range are too good for her speed and foresight is just stupid. Then there's Pyra that kills you if she sneezes in your general direction around 60. If they had better recoveries, I don't think there would even need to be a discussion imo.

And whiff punish tools, side b, f tilt, paralyzer, zair. Space with fair, zair, side b Sonic: Every. Single. Move. Mythra: foresight + fast fall airdodge, swap to pyra, fast initial dash, Ariel drift, whiff punish with side b, f-tilt, dash attack and space with fair and bair. Not as many as the others but I see some logic in it.

Waft is a singular move that you can whiff and is avoidable. Steves mining gives him a faster minecart, anvils, and stronger and faster weapons. You can dodge a waft no problem, but can you dodge all of steves attacks? Big difference

@@morgydee the placement of characters like PAC-Man, Sepiroth, and Sonic on the tier list. Tweek and crew on his podcast value them and place them much higher on the tier list, with PAC-Man in talks to be top 3, while to the Panda crew they’re not even top 10

When you do bottom 10, PLEASE put Ganon as the worst, there is no debate on that. Mac and Doc are better. Mac has neutral, frame data, speed, SAFE killmoves and 2 frames. Doc has better combos, edgeguard and kill confirms.

I appreciate that Sephiroth was considered for top 10, but he's kinda not. One thing I can say with a similarity in Shulk is the sword reach. Sephiroth has more reach but Shulk has more diverse reach if that makes sense. Also yes, Monado Arts is dumb and is why Shulk is top 10 and Sephiroth isn't

Unpopular opinion, I think Lucas should be a LOT closer to ness on the tier list or even above, he has some stupid stuff like rope snake, edge guarding skills with pk thunder, and really good recovery
