When John was taken up into the throne room of heaven, he was able to see worship from a different perspective. In our age of man-centered worship, we desperately need that change of perspective when it comes to our worship of God.
Revelation 4:9-11:
9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they existed and were created.

Voddie could lead me into spiritual battle any day anytime. Having him walk beside me in this life would be a privilege. I guarantee you I would stay on the right path much more than I am struggling to do now.

I have a great deal of respect for Voddie. I have learned a lot from him as I have from R.C. John MacArthur and a few others. But they are just men being used by God to teach us about God and his word. I understand your sentiment. But follow Jesus, not any man. They aren’t perfect and may disappoint you at some point. It’s tough, because we can see and hear them and we can’t see Jesus in person or hear him talk. But Jesus is the only one that can deliver you and give you the lasting strength to endure what you are going through. Many people’s faith gets shaken and wrecked because their faith was in a man who failed. God is the only way. It may be a cliche but it’s also true.

I too have learned so much from RC & Johnnie Mac - who in turn learned from those who came before them, back to Luther & Calvin, back to 1st century church theologians . . . that is the building of Jesus' church!!! So long as each individual allows the Holy Spirit keep pointing them right at Jesus,,we are to learn from one another & keep one another on the True Gospel! God bless you!!!

I keep Faith in Jesus even as I constantly struggle to provide groceries and basic necessities for my children both of my sons are special needs taking care of them can be overwhelming at times but I seek and find comfort in our Lord Jesus. I started home schooling my sons, so my hours to work are very limited. God has carried me through so far. Faith is all we need. Thank you Lord I know a blessing is on the way. Amen 💕

You know that's wonderful and true if God said it I believe it, I've told him please fill me with your love and compassion for the lost, and go with me to the streets and see people saved that the world has rejected and written off, not just a kind word or a gift card for a meal, but if they let me hug and love them to Jesus, praying hands on them with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ and staying with them intil there saved, I'm not going to heaven without some of them, it's not numbers, no its precious souls every one of them I want to take all of them with me to heaven I'm a street preacher, I'm going to show what the love of Jesus looks like sounds like, I'm going with Jesus or I'm not going, I'm nothing if they can't see Jesus in me , only me, I'm not going, all I have that Matters is Jesus, and I'm going because Jesus has me.

@michaelduarte7896 thank you Michael your incouragement makes me weep not a lot of people understand the cost, the price is very high, death to everything in us that's not supposed to be there, that's not Jesus, we as human beings created in God's own image, also have a very strong flesh nature that's totally apposed to everything Holy pure and Christ like, the battle is as real as life it's self, it hurts to die, sometimes physically it bends you over and all you can do is cry Jesus and groan and wait it can last for hours, it's a combination of intercession death and deliverance all at once, it's called travail and we have to ask for it, and yield, as strange as it many seem to many, it's a gift a blessing, high favor that God would personally be involved in us becoming transformed into the very image and likeness of Jesus, for the sole purpose of his son being glorified in everything we do and say, my dear friend the time is short the workers in the fields few, but the precious souls lost and desperate for someone anyone to love them, oh God let it be us.

The Apostles were promised that when the son of Man is seated in his throne of power and glory that they would be seated on thrones and judge Israel. Matthew 19:28. This is during the "regeneration" or what is called the Day of the Lord or the millennium. Paul was an Apostle who was martyred too. Can we say they are "elders"? There names are in the foundations of the New Jerusalem Revelation 21:14. I think we can say they are elders.

Great question,because I know there's a ministry claiming.That the book of Mormon is the stick of Ephraim and the Bible is the stick of Judah ..Spoken in Ezekiel 37 vs 16-18..And they're teaching that ,the book of mormon is the fullness of the gospel,that Christ after his resurrection.He came to the Americas and ordained 12 more apostles .And that the book of Mormon ,is the history of the 10 tribes in the Americas and that's why when Christ spoke to the Jews in Jerusalem and told them ,that he had sheep ,who are not of this fold he must manifest himself to and they must hear his voice.The Bible The Southern Kingdom and Book Of Mormon The Northern Kingdom And they say ,that are the 24 elders..12 apostles Christ ordain from both kingdoms..

In Rev 21, it speaks of the New Jerusalem with the twelve gates, which are the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve foundations, which are the twelve apostles. No where is there another twelve apostles, as the Mormans claim. Cheers

Oh followers of Calvin, please make up your mind!! 🙄 Followers of Christ: Everyone beyond the age of accountability has knowledge of good and evil just as Adam & Eve did. Those who choose God at all costs will be rewarded. Those who choose self will receive righteousness judgement. Anyone who believes that an infant (who hasn’t even grown into the understanding of anything beyond cold vs. warm, hungry vs. satiated, wet vs. dry) can comprehend right vs. wrong let alone choose and actually has the capacity to and will by default choose evil is not to be trusted to teach scripture. That is the definition of bearing false witness. Not just bearing false witness against infants but God Himself. Read that a second time and just sit with it. The irony of what Voddie B. said about martyrs is that Calvin martyred many true followers of Christ for not affirming his doctrine of disgrace.

It"s not in the scriptures! No one knows for sure who the 24 elders are! It's not clear. Some say it may be the 12 tribes of Israel plus 12 disciples. Stay close to God’s Word so you won't be deceived. Read it for yourself.

The 24 elders are creatures God made. They are heavenly beings. John Macarthur says the 24 elders are the raptured church! Not according to scripture. Firstly, there is no pre trib rapture! Secondly in Rev 7:9-12 we have the church ( elect) in verses 9-10. In verse 11 all the angels, with the 24 elders and 4 living creatures. If the elders are men redeemed why would the church also be mentioned? Redundant! The elders are creatures God made. They are not redeemed men.
