Part I - “Aaliyah’s 8 Passengers” Part II - “What Went Wrong?” Part III - “Theories: Who Benefited?” Part IV - “Premonitions” (Premieres 4.4.24) Part V - “The World Was NOT Kind To Aaliyah”
Britney saying Aaliyah just got her foot in the door is laughable. Aaliyah had walked through that door in 1996-1997 before we knew there was a Britney.
I can't help but notice that when all the black artists were paying homage to or replicating Aaliyah's style, everyone clocked immediately and pointed it out by acknowledging Aaliyah's influence, but when a white woman (Britney Spears) does it, suddenly it's unique, revolutionary, original and never done before.
I've always liked Ashanti, but I never considered her the 'Princess of R&B' ... always liked Cici too. But they never were Aaliyah. She was / is the originator 🕊️🐐
Even back in the 90s, VIBE magazine (of all publications) had the nerve to compare Britney to Aaliyah and T-Boz. I'm like, 'WHAT?! Don't do too much.' 🙄
You forgot Christina Milian. I remember seeing her videos for "AM to PM" and "When You Look at Me" and noticed how Aaliyah influenced she looked. Love this video.
These girls ALL tried to replace Aaliyah and NONE of them could. Ciara copied her the most. Timberland and Missy are weird and have tried to make another Aaliyah for years. Instead of leaving her legacy alone. believe Aaliyahs uncle to heavily responsible for her death. Her mother hasn’t spoken to him since. He refused to put her music on streaming platforms for YEARS. Her villa in the Bahamas also had problems with getting hot water and wasn’t up to standard. Her uncle is evil.
RIGHT!! You also gotta remember that her mother was just as sick as the rest of them. She was literally sleeping with the same man (R kelly) that was assaulting & eventually impregnated her minor child🤢🤮 Aaliyah was failed by everyone!!😢
Lies Ciara copied her the least. The only genuine connection between the two some could make is that they wer black girls with soft voices, who danced and did Urban pop. That's it. Literally Ciara came out with a CRUNK song, nothing Aaliyah EVER did. So that's a flat out lie!!! Mind you Aaliyah had a smooth, two stepper tomboy style and laid back music where as Ciara was Crunk, hype in your face, backbends, splits, two touches Cheerleading style tomboy with in your face dance music. Two very different artists. Y'all are just being lazy and disingenuous when yall compare and discuss them.
I disagree. There were others with that type of style (baggy low waisted trousers, leathers etc) before Aaliyah e.g. TLC, Janet Jackson etc. And the RnB sound in the 1990s was quite generic. They all sounded similar.
@@Dante-w8fGeneric today's r&b is the definition of generic R&b in the 90s was dominating billboard charts R&b today can barely dominate the billboard charts
So many similarities! Liyah was such a major influence. Literally the blueprint for all the girlies. They were carbon copying her! Never realized the Britney performance thing smh.
It must suck to have been in Aaliyah’s position where people either want to f you or have your life because they’re so envious. Meanwhile she wanted to do no harm to anyone else. Was so kind around a bunch of snakes. This was prob her only way to be protected long term. There was nothing but vultures around her :(
You definitely hit the nail on the head with Ashanti this is one that ppl overlook. Aaliyah’s esthetic is the most iconic in rnb her style is SO noticeable it’s ridiculous she had everybody biting off her even to this day. Very funny that Ashanti was signed to “Murda Inc”
So Beyonce basically took scissors and cut up Aaliyah’s shirt so she could wear it for a film where she dies? Wonder what that symbolizes 🤔 Ashanti took the Princess of RnB title right from her, after they were on the same label? Did anyone catch the coke sign outside right where Left eye’s vehicle crashed? The digits on her license plate equal her death date. I’m becoming more convinced that this was deliberate.
I don´t like Beyoncé but Janet Jackson had the same shirt on her music video "All for you" so the shirt already was cutted, if it was not cutted then the production did.
I felt so many different emotions watching this: 1- Cried 2- Angry 3-👀🤔🧐 4-Laugh(You r funny talking about offering prescription lenses, lol, you're right, tho)
Ughhh I hate how allll of these girlies came out the gate copying Aaliyah’s rock the boat. So lame 😒 Ciara was a genuine dancer though and her look fit her well.
I’ve said way before I even saw this video that Beyoncé wouldn’t be where she is if Aaliyah was alive. I’m not a fan of Beyoncé I think Kelly has a better voice.
Kelly can't sing without being out of breath and being winded. Aaliyah wasn't seeing Brandy in popularity or sales. Destiny's Child destroyed her in sales and chart performances. Beyoncé is wayyyyy better vocalist, dancer, performer and artist with more versatility. She can sing any genre
They killed Aaliyah because Beyonce didn't have a flying chance in hell against her. That was so obvious. Everyone loved Aaliyah, but hated Beyonce. Aaliyah was the PEOPLES's choice. Beyonce was forced on begrudging black audiences, and only has a career today because they removed Aaliyah and some others, and super promoted beyonce.
Aaliyah was much bigger than Brandy by the time the 2000’s rolled around. Yes Destiny’s Child was huge, but Beyonce as a SOLO name was no where near Aaliyah’s popularity at the time she was living. Dont ever forget that it was Beyonce the one interviewing Aaliyah
Jeury, I have to say....your channel is an integral "betcha truly didn't know" space for mini docs. It's fascinating to see the six degrees of separation these artists had pertaining to Aaliyah. This world is extremely calculated by the powers that be. Nothing just happens. RIP Aaliyah.
I might get flack for this but the only artist that really filled the Aaliyah void after she passed (for Me) was Ciara. She was basically the same just slightly taller and the brown skinned version of Aaliyah who was stronger than Ciara vocally but weaker than her dance wise. Ashanti also filled the void partially just because she was an up and coming young adult black female r&b singer that appealed to both adults and teens/kids but she didn’t dance like Aaliyah did just sang so her artistry wasn’t as comparable maybe style but not musical style. Rihanna should never be mentioned in these she can’t sing or dance just because she can throw on the hot like fire pants means nothing she’s POP not R&B same can be said for Cassie.
Nobody can ever do it like Aaliyah.. she was the blueprint.. she set it.. she was so original that anybody that tries to copy or mimic her looks clownish to me in my opinion.. they’ll never get it right. This is energy harvesting they’re doing.. can’t wait for the next video 👍🏽
Exactly!! 👌🏻 Aaliyah & Selena are the blueprint for an ENTIRE 3 generations and still going strong! Their energy was too pure and powerful for the dirty, evil music industry.
Ppl come after me so bad everytime I say Beyonce would have never reached the level she did without Aaliyah’s tragic passing. Aaliyah passed Beyoncé started getting into movies and list goes on and on. Great video
Aaliyah is always number 1 in my eyes because she was so talented. Don’t get me wrong I like Ashanti, Ciara, and Beyoncé. However; they will never be Aaliyah in my opinion. It was Aaliyah’s legacy that made other artists.
Y’all keep comparing these artist to each other when they are completely different from each other. It’s ok to like more then one w/o putting others down or mentioning others 🥴
Sir ! I’m going to need to know your sign .. because the way you gather and interpret esoteric and arcane information is incredible.. it’s giving water sign! It’s crazy that all the rnb princesses that have come after Aaliyah did an island 🏝️ video shoot . In light of recent events and raids , it clear that nothing in these industries happens by happenstance. RIH to Aaliyah she is always missed ❤️
It was a spiritual warfare and murder listen to the people who were connected to her interviews she was taken out for insurance money by her record label and uncle. It explains why he and his sister (Aaliyah's mother) have a rift between them. This was planned. Look at the guy who said she had to die to allow someone else to shine and step up to get a chance at fame. These celebrities death are not cut and dry they are rituals and warfare for the spirit and soul of the artist. They keep their soul in bondage and have others use their energy to manipulate the public/fans. Why do these celebrities copy each other or aka show homage by biting their style. Look at the images and their interviews and everything else they claim to be artistic.
I been an Aaliyah fan since I was 10 years old. There was something magical about her persona. VERY beautiful and had an amazing and captivating singing voice. Deep down in my spirit I feel there was deception and lies regarding the plane crash. It feels like it was personally done to her by someone who knew her very well. No one can tell me Aaliyah wasn't supposed to be the face of female R&B today but it was taken from her on purpose. Right when she was on the verge of taking over, she passed. Good and righteous peple die all the time but this one has too many red flags and doesn't feel right to me. May she rest in peace❤👑
Aaliyah has been so inspirational to so many artists. Continue to rest in peace, Aaliyah. Even in death, your beautiful heart and spirit can be felt by everyone, and even us, fans. Rest well... and thank you. 🥲🙏🏼
I was 10 when Aaliyah passed i was sooo heart broken 💔. I’m now 33 and her death bothers me still to this day. I know Jay and her uncle had something to do with her death. I cannot wait until Jay is token down by the powers that be. I’m patiently waiting for his demise. Diddy is first Jay will be next . Anyone who watches Sloan Bella on YT her premonitions of Diddy is coming true now. Jays take down will be rolling out in 2026-2030. Rest In Power Babygirl . 🩵🩵🩵🩵💜
Someone said Alicia said some slick shit sometime post her death at some live concert, is that true? There was also some LSA thread that idk if exists anymore that claims she was shady about her
Well in my opinion I don't care how much people try to paint that Beyonce loved Aaliyah so much I don't so much believe that when they had that appearance on the red carpet at the MTV Music Awards when Aaliyah had on that black dress you can see the jealousy all in Beyonce's face and let's be real if Aaliyah was not with God right now Beyonce would not be where she's at today we all know that and Beyonce knows that her damn self smh
I don't think aaliyah would have been as big as beyonce if she lived imo. She would probably have been a toni braxton or a marry j blige/ashanti. Honestly, if anything this video proves that Ashanti benefited way more from Aaliyah's death than Bey.
Also Sloan Bella has a great video of her. The same psychic who accurately predicted the Diddy down fall. If you believe in that sort of thing. She is an amazing medium. Anyways, love your videos Justifed. 💖
Thank you for showing this. Every time i hear something about Aaliyah, it seems that the rabbit hole gets deeper and deeper.......can't wait for part 4
I didn't realize how close Destiny's Child and Aaliyah were--particularly Beyonce. I just thought they knew one another because they were entertainers. Also, the Coca-Cola theory is peculiar. Creepy.
She’s a blue print to all these girls if she was still here it wouldn’t be no use for the other girls probably won’t have a job and Beyoncé couldn’t went to stardom solo
New subscriber 😊! I promise to only watch your ORIGINAL content, no AI bullllshit! I love deep dive documentaries about urban culture from the Black perspective that RU-vid suppresses 🖤.
Here my belief they eliminated left eye so density child to sore as for Aaliyah she was also a threat to Beyoncé she was basically her Rihanna I believe Aaliyah would be bigger than both if she what have lived.
You earned a follow dude For YEARS following her death I noticed patterns after researching. Folks think you’re bat shit crazy but when the same thing keeps happening over and over it’s like wait ……I wish this stuff wasn’t true but nobody can convince me that industry doesn’t sacrifice folks for money and energy.
Ciara would’ve still had a lane even if Aaliyah was here. Ciara is like an Aaliyah/Janet hybrid, her style is a fusion of the two. But if we’re being honest, Ciara vocals might surpass either but she can for damn sure out perform both.
i remember around the time aaliyah passed, i was watching the survivor music video on tv, and i found it eerie how michelle williams favored aaliyah in so many ways
These are some pretty compelling and thought-provoking theories. Thank you for keeping her legacy alive. And I really appreciate how you enunciate her name correctly, as that was important to her 💜💜💜
@7:15 Beyoncé / her team going to recruit Aaliyah’s dancers after her death + mimicking the music videos that Aaliyah made and copying her energy definitely gives Energy Harvesting /Destiny swapping smh🥴☕️May Aaliyah’s soul rest in peace. 💖🧿
Selena Quintanilla had a connection with coco cola too and Beyoncé/Jlo were opposed with her back in the day. They are giving me Bodyguard moment. Y’all remember Whitney and her jealous sister. 😅
Jeury You bring such fresh and insightful content to the many mysteries that pop culture obsesses over daily. I love your videos, you do such great work!!!!!!!
IMO Aaliyah was going to go on snd become a movie STAR. But had she decided to stay in music her and Beyonce would've become rivals because they we're the two best. R.I.P. Aaliyah 🙏🏽🕊🕊🕊
The nip slip is something I never noticed but dont you think they did that on purpose to further tarnish her image even after death ? Hype really is evil AF and had no regard for this woman
Is it really there? I've never seen it or noticed it in the video and I love the video as I used to watch it on 106 and park and try to learn the dance and perform it in my living room.
I'm glad you noticed that Coca Cola conspiracy. Left Eye was holding up her Coca Cola wallet before crashing her vehicle. I seen your Melanie Thornton video, she did that Coca Cola gig before her death. Something about Coca Cola and those celebs at the time 😢.
Jay-Z is a evil man in my opinion. He seems to take out people whom he's threatened by. Jaguar Wright mentioned Jay-Z possibly having something to do with Big L's death.
Aaliyah's art is timeless, she really started a whole wave of r&b girls looks and sound. I can't help but to feel her identity was stolen and not payed "homage" if you are constantly using her blueprint. Also, Rihanna seems to be the only artist I can see that reminds me of Aaliyah, career wise.
@@kimendable It was pretty obvious back in the early millennium when she passed that was lowkey the plan to replace her. Everyone was talking about it. I mean did you even grow up in the early millennial? Notice I only said Tweat and Ciara. I did not mention any other females. The music industry had them dressing similar to how Aaliyah and even down to their mannerisms. Most people caught onto that back then from what I remember. It wasn’t a secret.
@@ashleycomeaux1975now that I am older I realize that Ciara started off as an industry plant to replace Aaliyah, it did not work and in time she grew her own style and personality. The music industry definitely does this a lot and especially back in the day always trying to replace any artist that either passed or fell off.
Love these. Plz keep them coming. So much was left unsaid. Unfinished. Unacomplished with Aaliyah. It breaks my heart to think what she could have been. The britney slave for you preformance was too high brow to be her idea. The movements and snake outfit were spot on AALIYAH.
