Weird, I was going for the "not interested" button when RU-vid started auto playing the icon. I sat there for half the video before I was like, "just click the damn thing."
Cause it's fun and interesting... Good to gather data... Wanna know your main's potential... To be a part of the community... Because it was uploaded by someone you're subbed to... How do you not know?
NyanDiamond No it doesn't, YEET Smash specifically said "No landing on platforms" and dropping through platforms doesn't count as landing, unless you land and then drop through them. And besides, it's actually equivalent to how YEET Smash "touched" the platforms and continued with a lot of characters.
Bowser could probably make it if the timing is tighter. Link and Toon Link could also potentially make if if the bomb is better timed. Kirb could also space his jumps Lucario can make it. It was WAY to close at the edge to call it a failure. *Same with shulk, probally can do a tech with him Marth could use dancing blade to go even further i think
That moment when Mario, the Mario character most associated with jumping, gets the lowest score for a jumping challenge (out of all of the Mario characters)
Don't Subscribe to me by that I mean both Mario and luigi are probably the most iconic videogames character and pretty much everyone can recognize them. People (on the internet) talk more about luigi because he’s more mysterious. Also Mario is Nintendo’s mascot and the super mario franchise is one of the best selling franchise Don’t get me wrong I love luigi and I think he’s a really underrated character
You can make it with him but its pixel perfect. I did it by going at 1/4 speed and going under all platforms timing your jumps just pixels above the ground and finally b-reversing up b to grab the ledge.
Little Mac has the potential of making it so far to the right of the screen that he lands on Final Destination as it is the stage across on the select screen
@@subscriberbefore-zm5sn Speaking of idiot, he said "let me know in the comments" but he's not very active in the comments section, other people sent him the updates on the day this video was made, but he's still not putting them in the description.
6:19 maybe try the trick where you charge limit 99% of the way, and then start the jump, then down b on the rise of the double jump. limit break lowers your jump height, and this technique is the only way cloud can do certain challenges (reverse hyrule hump, for instance)
Cloud can make it if you finish charging limitafter his second jump. It gives him more distance. Kirby's is much harder. Going under all platforms, jump as close to the ground as possible. Hardest part, b-reverse up b while still moving forwards so that you grab the ledge. I managed to pull this off only on 1/4 speed. I tested both of them.
The direction Link's bomb threw him can affect how far he can go. It's mostly random but in the video it sht him in the opposite direction that he needed to go. It should be retried to where it throws him torwards the side he is trying to go to. Also, I find it odd that Falco can't make it to 5 but Fox can. I think something is amiss.
can I just take this moment to point out how hard it is to use the stage builder? Like, oh god why is that line not horizontal and straight and now it’s off centred and why can’t I texture it right and so on. IT’S PEEVING.
Christian Caisley OH. So to make a straight line out the stylus on the point you want and then scroll the camera in the direction you want. I had the same problem and that’s what I did
I don't know for sure, but I feel like Toon Link could do it. He got sooooo close. TBH you could've done it with cloud, too, i think. You wobbled back and forth at the end of his fall instead of just going for the ledge which made him land on the stage.
You could make it further with Bayonetta. Use triple jump. You jump once. Up-b Side-b You jump twice but as soon as you hit it Up-b You can fully jump once again but you can’t use any specials.
dubstep kid Well finally I know a way to call that: 'Up b' Was constantly getting annoyed when I didn't know what to call it but know a know one other way
ThiroSmash Not necessarily. Greninja has one of the highest jumps in the game, meaning if Shadow Sneak is spaces correctly he could make it. I also noticed that they didn’t use hydro pump to the up-left twice. Instead, he did it to he side and up-left. If that were changed, it could up his odds a bit.
Connor Allen No, ThiroSmash is right, Greninja having the top 4 highest jumps in the game doesn't change the fact that Shadow Sneak has too much end lag.
STHFan1992 I tested it out, he is partially right. I times it correctly and was able to get to the point where I am just at the edge of the stage. It could be possible, but would take lots of time.
Bob Thebuilder exactly, a well timed up b at the peak of his jump could have gotten him into a great position to use his side b, so actually Greninja should have passed no problem
Miss Kobe Yoshi You don’t understand Kirby’s Up B, do you? He can’t snap onto the ledge if he’s facing the opposite way. If he went the full way, he would have died.
Miss Kobe Yoshi The rules are that you have to snap the ledge, though. That’s how it works for all of these types of challenges. That’s why he snapped the ledge with every character that could get past the ledge, except for Kirby who couldn’t, if you noticed. In fact, now that I watch it again, Kirby might not even be able to get to the ledge. It looks like he could touch the ground as well, which is not allowed.
Connor Allen The rules don't say anything about snapping to the ledge, as long as he can make it over this stage (without Copy Abilities), it should count as a pass, this occurs in plenty of "Who Can Go Over" videos.
With Lucario just up B and go straight to the right. He makes it no problem. You even have time to curve down at the end to grab the plarform. Don't go up, only go right.
There's a difference between "hating most of the characters" & "not knowing that some of the characters can make it", did you even read what it says at 6:43? Although he's not very active on the comments section.
People I THINK could make it: 1. Kirby (How couldn't Kirby make it? I mean, I think it is possible.) 2. Bayonetta (Just give it another chance, can you? Cause Bayonetta can make it over the entire stage in Boxing Ring.) 3. Cloud (You could make it if you work hard.) 4. Bowser (If you time the jumps right, I think he could do it.) 5. Fox (If you time the jumps right, I think Fox could possibly make it.)
I tested this out in Ultimate with the cut characters (including Speed Kirby) and got these results: Kirby w/ Speed Monado: ✔️ Ice Climbers: 2 (Nana) 4 (Popo) Pichu: ✔️ Young Link: 3.5 (w/o bomb) 4 (w/ bomb, no damage) Snake: ✔️* Squirtle: 3 Ivysaur: 3 Wolf: 4 Ultimate Palutena: No Change Inkling: 5 Ridley: 5 Simon: 3- King K. Rool: ✔️ Isabelle: ✔️*- Incineroar: 3 Piranha Plant: ✔️ Dark Samus: No Change- Daisy: No Change Chrom: 3 (he gets further with his air dodge than his recovery!) Ken: 3- Richter: No Change * indicates I couldn’t prevent myself from going into the Blast Zone, and thus SD’d. - indicates I had to slow down time to get that far. If a character can get further, please tell me in the comments.
Corrections: Ice Climbers: 5 (Popo) Young Link: 4 (Without Bomb), ✔️ (With Bomb, no damage) Chrom: 3.5 * Squirtle: 3.5 Ivysaur: 3.5 Ken: 4 (Same as Ryu) * Requires dropping through platforms (it doesn't count as landing). I'm convinced you were joking about your attempt into getting Snake & Isabelle over Big Battlefield, also Kirby can make it without Monado Arts like in *this* game but easier, keep in mind that the results in Ultimate may not be the same in Smash 4. Changes from Smash 4 to Ultimate: Link: 5 → ✔️ (Can go further than Young Link by waiting for his Remote Bomb to explode automatically instead of exploding it manually.) Fox: 5 → ✔️ *1 Luigi: ✔️→ 4 (Without a misfire) Captain Falcon: 4 → 5 *2 Dr. Mario: 4 → 3.5 Falco: 5 → ✔️ *1 Roy: 3.5 → 4 *2 Wii Fit Trainer: ✔️→ 5 Robin: 5 → ✔️ Shulk: 4 → 3.5 (Without Monado Arts), ✔️→ 5 (With Monado Jump Art) *1: Requires precise timing. *2: Requires dropping through platforms. Also, here are some updates for *this* game: *Luigi* by Yungkid Worthy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5907RhjC3fk.html *Lucario* by Kenneth Jansen ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rQC4e_tsZAA.html *Shulk* by DistantKingdom ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-a7-kNuAuUTU.html *Bayonetta* by Vinson Games ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RGoPQ_PzeuY.html *More updates* by me ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w2fn7ArLDlo.html
Mario can make it the full way, ONLY if you time his Cape Attacks CAREFULLY, THEN use his signature up smash! Other than that, it’s an accurate representation of how far Mario can go
Cape actually makes it worse in this game, and smash attacks are not even recovery moves, so therefore, it's not really an accurate representation of how far Mario can go, nice try! 😆
I love how Peach is like: Excuse me bitches, the Princess is going, and just floats around, does a kick, and then just tostarte floating with her umbrella, Such a queen
If you use bidou and press "x" or "y" to do jumps you can do upspecials and jumps without stopping holding forward, keeping all momentum. With this, Robin can pretty easily make it to 5, and kirby can make it PASSED the ledge but I cant figure out how to make him actually grab the ledge... theres probably more stuff but those are the only characters I've tested. Imma keep testing tho. Will update this comment later.
I'm pretty sure cloud could have easily made that at 6:20 but still awesome video thanks! Also Ryu can get further if you get the button combo for side b he goes further. And I believe the same applies for shoryuken, he goes higher.
