The AI is really only bad during Ladder matches. It's the shitty spaghetti code that Yuke's left behind. Changing one small line of code can destroy the entire game so it's a risk they can't take unless they can get a solid 4 years off to work on new coding. The only actual overhaul was the gameplay and graphics but the coding stayed the same because it's impossible to delete everything and start from scratch in a 2 year period.
29:10 was not a cross Rhodes. It’s the opposite move where you spin in the other direction. It’s like the Tongan twist Tama used in New Japan. Personally I think it looks way better than the cross Rhodes.
