While we're on the topic, YEET probably could have gotten closer with Ness provided he didn't mess up the double PK Thunder tech. I don't blame him though, he's probably better than me anyway so I have no right to say that I could do it.
I love how he says "so close!" for Mewtwo, but then says nothing for Lucas who is mere millimeters away. Especially when he could have done so much more.. double pk thunder, pk fire for momentum. Come on man!

If you notice, the platform that moves to the left and right also messes him up, and makes him use extra effort to avoid it, failing attempts simply due to not being patient and waiting for it to go left
6:48 Lucas can make that I'm pretty sure. Just hit yourself on the bottom of the Smashville platform and then you can use up B again. Kinda like what you did with Ness. Although I'm not sure if it's possible. Or just start the Up B later.
(1:54) Ness can actally make it, you just had to wait a little more after the tech and then PK Thunder to grab the ledge. Or after teching PK Thunder and tech once more to PK Thunder again and grab the ledge.
If you ask me, it's fun to see how the characters move around differently between this game and Smash 4. But yeah, honestly. Thank god there isn't a stage creator on this one. Yet.
Ness could have made that, the only thing was him not aiming the PK thunder 100% correctly. Ness's head was touching the bottom of the map, and the PK thunder spawns from the top of Ness, so obviously it got destroyed, and since it failed, it led Ness into a free fall. Just saying, Ness very likely could have made it. Like if you agree.
I've done it in final destination with my group of friends he threw me off stage (I'm playing as pikachu) and I just charge my side B to the other side he tried to spike me but got him with a stock
I tested this and my results were yes! I did have trouble with palutena’s temple and New Pork City though, because the maps are so big. The one for sure impossible one that I know of is Great Cave Offensive and tomodachi life (as well as other tower stages without ways to go under.)
You can do it without a Mecha koopa. I just went into training mode and got it on my first try. What you do is you double jump from ledge, do a kart spin out, then do another kart spin out underneath, then a kart jump cancelled into an up b. You don't even need a Mecha koopa.
Look, guys, this kind of video isn’t that bad and it’s some mistakes the creator keep making. Don’t bash him for trying to do something you guys wouldn’t try, and besides, this took a lot of time to try, even if it’s just for revenue. Idk how many times he messed up but it seems to be a lot of trial and error situations. Honestly, I’ve learned how to improve my gameplay for when I’m in a rough situation, so don’t gripe so much. Try to make things better, not bitter. Don’t BE bitter, it won’t be that fun.

I think Dedede can make it. His recovery relies on height, so if you go _under first_ , then Up-B and cancel towards the top, you should be able to drift to the edge and make it.
Rosalina, Lucas, Mewtwo & Wii fit can make it lol You mistimed it for Lucas & Rosa You have to use header & mash « B » when you’re doing wii fit’s up b to go a LOT higher. its like you haven’t tried at all Mewtwo just has to double jump then under smash ville use his side b then teleport
I have a problem with this video. This is totally screaming "im gonna make it first". If u have to do a video like this than u have to grind it, when i saw that he didn't wait to double misfire with luigi i was so mad (btw Luigi can do it also without two misfires, calm down)
yeah, and ness also could make it too, he just didn't wait in the 2nd up b, if he waited to call down a bit longer and then did up b he could've made it. I also tested it and it works. but it is a pointless video lol
If Corrin can use his Side-B on the platform Bayonetta should be allowed to hit someone with her Side-B to get another one, and use the triple jump glitch, it seems that it's still working
I think Corrins was just an exception, considering she didn’t even make it with the plat thing. If characters could use cpus, so many more ppl could just footstool or something. I think because the plat is part of smashville, it kinda constitutes as worthy, same with balloons.
@@skiboutins Corrin can actually do it (using the Side-B thing), the guy in the video just didn't make it, and if the balloons count then wait for a balloon so Bayo gets her 2nd Side-B and he could use the triple jump glitch properly, so Bayo would make it
that actually makes no sense at all. corrin's side b touching the stage is like ness pk thundering into the stage and bouncing off then using it again, the character's isn't standing on the stage or grabbing the ledge. Using the other player means they cant do it on their own
This is really half assed at least have a method with this like attempt it at least 5 times for example before coming to a conclusion because some of these like ness, Lucas and Luigi could probably make around the stage if you time it properly.
he did say that luigi would most likely be able to make it with a double misfire, i dont think he is going to keep attempting it just incase he gets that 1/100 chance double misfire
AS Ness and Lucas, you can make it by hitting the bottom and then delaying the next PK Thunder a bit afterwards to the other ledge instead of using it immediately upon impact, which delets the projectile for the move.
I know this is very outdated, but Bowser Junior can actually make it with some very precise jumps. By using your jumps and using the shield dodge go past the first edge, go under the stage, then, use your side smash to get near the 2nd edge, and with a very presice up smash, bowser junior can grab the ledge.
His side b has too much end lag for him to make it after fully charging it. Also Luigi still falls while charging so he probably would’ve fallen too far to make it back to the ledge with just up B. But I might be wrong, I haven’t tested it yet.
Sad Child I did test it. I use it a lot for recovering. It’s a trick most Luigi mains know. Edit: Because you do it at the same time, Luigi charges side-B and goes up at the same time.
Roy Platt I know, I didn't say anything about the equal scenarios, I just said that Little Mac can go over this stage in Smash 4 as well, leaving Ganondorf the only one who can't.
i get that you want to be the first one to release this, but you should have been more patient to get that missfire on luigi, the second someone does a compilation with luigi making it your video will be completely wrong/pointless
Have you tried Wii Fit Trainer's Side Special? It adds a little height and stops momentum. I then immediately follow up with the Up Special. I use this to Recover all the time. The soccer ball is unneeded to perform the Side Special. I cannot test this out anytime soon. I hope this method can help Wii Fit Trainer succeed!
Not really, as in Japanese they refer to it as ‘pk’ and when the us team for earthbound translated mother 2, they changed it to ‘psi’, they’re the same. If you’re saying that ness doesn’t have moves like psi/pk fire in the games, it’s cause (supposedly the lore goes) that after earthbound and when ness was invited to smash, Paula taught ness the moves to make him a more viable competitor.
Bowser Jr actually can make it if you spin at the end of your dash which will give him another dash and then you can jump out of that and grab the ledge
When yl and tl use bomb recovery in freefall it sends them the opposite way they’re facing. It looked like if you reverse the second upb you might be able to make it with yl without tacking on % beforehand
Not sure if this is actually the case, but can't bowser jr use a mecha koopa to do the same thing all the Links have been doing? Like can't he blow up, resetting his moves to be able to be used again?
