Out of trump’s mouth slid the sentence, “She should have won.” Comey received a last minute piece of information and announced he was reopening the case about Hillary. Now we know that was misinformation. I can trust Harris to not abandon our long term allies. I can trust her to know how Biden deals with a new problem or crisis. I can trust her to know who to talk to. I can trust her to be diplomatic. I can trust her to not start World War III. I can trust her to not freely steal, hide and disclose the secret information that keeps our defense strong.
I have concerns that Harris wouldn’t be able to defeat Trump, however the reference to Clinton is a red herring. 1. People hadn’t lived through a Trump Presidency in 2016, now they have. 2. There was significant complacency in 2016, mildly Clinton inclined / anti Trump voters believed a Clinton victory was a foregone conclusion, so didn’t turn out. I think more voters might remember the trump term more fondly than this one. The only reason this race is even competitive is the election denial, 6.1, abortion, and trump's character - not people "remembering the trump presidency". That is *his* advantage. Harris is tainted with this administration's unpopularity, is highly unlikable, bad at speaking, and has very problematic baggage from her time as DA. She is perhaps the only mainstream candidate *less* popular than biden. The comparison to hillary is striking. If biden is replaced, there is literally nothing the GOP would love more. The DNC needs someone moderate, charismatic, and not tainted by this administration. She is the literal horror candidate, which is why nearly no one wants her to rum.

Everyone is focusing on the wrong issue. If he is gone to the point that they are considering replacements for the election, who has been performing his job as president and how long have they been doing it?
Just my two cents, but, as a conservative who dislikes both current options Wes Moore and Roy Cooper were the only candidates that did not make me want to o puke. Americans should be less concerned with fringe issues and focus on issues like security, both financial and physical. The state of our education system, and by extension the future of our country. The very frightening national debt.

Yes the taxpayers having to pay private loans of college deadbeats shows our liberal education system is terrible. Public schools are nothing more than indoctrination centers. In Detroit not one student can do the work of their grade level but on the liberal bright side they have drag queen story hour every week for the third graders.

As a North Carolinian, having Roy Cooper at the helm for the past 8 years has been a godsend. It’s rare to see politicians who keep their word, but he promised us things and he worked HARD with Republicans to make them happen. That is what is needed in Washington right now. Of course, there were another one or two people named that I could live with, but this is a very bad place to be as an American right now.😕
No one can replace Biden cause Biden has by far been the best president ever. So why would you want to replace what has never been broken. Trump could never do what Biden has done. Trump only destroys things he was shocking.
It would be interesting to see an internet poll on the available replacement candidates. Democrats need to center around one person and it would be a good start.
Gretchen and Gavin are not the answer. Gavin was a “do as I say not as I do” during covid by throwing parties at the French laundry and playing fast and loose with mask mandates that he supported when it involved him at a sporting event and Gretchen was a “I’m just going to do tomorrow whatever Ohio did today”.
Gavin is the OBVIOUS choice. Throwing parties at a French laundry pales in comparison to being an adjudicated rapist who screwed around on his wife with a pornstar, had his businesses and foundations dissolved for fraud, and who is now a CONVICTED FELON on TOP of of being an adjudicated rapist.
