My vote is for Dan. All have great voices, but Dan embodies the song and delivers in a way that is absolutely captivating. He draws you in and you just want more. He and Erik Gronwall have done a HEAT cover of Breaking the Silence which is great - you should check it out.
That gritty metal rocker voice of Dan Vasc gets my vote every time. Tommy is sensational, but polished doesn't do it for me on this song. Loved your reactions.
Tommy owned this. Straight up. The only criticism I have is the speed of the song under energized the song and even his vocals somewhat because of the slower pace. But still he ruled the roost.
I think Dimas voice very clean and calm but rasphy ....maybe you must try reaction Deden Gonzales from Indonesia same Dimas Senopati..Deden cover song @ Shes gone ( steel heart) @.ill never let You go ( steel heart)
I love this comparison format - hope there are more to come! All 3 did a great job. Tommy is awesome, but for me Dan's voice and passion win him the top spot!
Dan Vasc had a sound and vibe that was better. I think the other men did really well but neither one of them can come close to the sheer ability to sing anything well. Dan Vasc could sing the phone book.
I came back to try what you did, to judge without watching and found that I actually appreciated Dimas’s vocals more for some reason. But even without watching Dan visually express the song, which IMO added so much more emotional depth, his vocals were overwhelmingly captivating for me. Sheer gritty power vocals strategically and perfectly applied! Wow 🤩
huge fan of Tommy...Reignxeed, Memories of Old, Majestica, Sabaton are all amazing.im confused, what would you have expected Tommy to have done differently?
Tommy is to clean for me! I realy liked Dimas.. but Dan was killing it! He payed homage but made it his own with his unic voice and grid. He was more true to the story of the song.
Dan’s accent does come through in some songs. Dan is by far better than Tommy or any other cover artist, even better than the original!! Tommy is good but I myself, can’t compare him to Dan. Dan is in a whole other league by himself. I have never heard Dimis but he sounds like a little kid but he’s his vocal are pretty good. Love the acoustic. With time he’ll grow.
For me, Dimas is the most impressive. Raw Talent. Tommy, too much digital manipulation (overproduction). Obviously, Dan is better than Tommy, but Dimas is the most impressive.
yeah, if you want to hear whether a singer is good at singing or not, you don't need any additional musical instruments or any additional digital production 😅😂
Tommy all the way as he not only sings, he plays the guitar, keyboard, bass and drums (software drum on most of them due to space in his apartment) on his covers. I agree with Snake Sabo from Skid Row as he reacted to this with Joel from Party Like A Rockstar Podcast: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HiGHuC0E0sg.html
Dan Vasc FTW!! The other 2 were great too, but Dan leaves me speechless. One you missed is Erik Gronwell. He & Dan have sang a few songs together, complementing each other to a T.
To bad that you didn't include Eric Grönwall's cover of this that he did on RU-vid before become their new lead singer. Then you would have had 4 non native English speakers covering this song.
While Tommy plays the guitar really well, he plays it too cutsey, for me. This is a song about a tough, rough guy, and it needs the force in how Dan sings it, without eho showing up.
Liked them all, BUT Dan is so much more Emotional, the other two, just singing a song, Dan was living it! The kid needs More practice on his screams or he's gonna blow out his vocal cords and never get to Tommy and Dan's Expertise. VICTOR the guitar Nerd..
The song actually does not need a screaming vocal the whole song. To have a mix would be excellent. Let the song build and metal scream at “those” moments. Vocalist really needs to know what they’re singing. Otherwise, the inflection is all wrong. That would display vocal maturity. Floor Jansen is one of those vocalist who is exceptional at annunciation no matter what language she’s singing in. You will hear no accent at all. But she is classically trained, and she has a background of musical theater. Dimash has a wonderful voice. ❤ Tommy actually put a super cool arpeggiated run at the end. 😎 Dan is my winner!
Dan is far better than other 02 guys. They both are VERY GOOD....but I feel Dimas has short limits and Tommy is fantastic but he brings me ABBA feelings
Just open your ears! "Dan is *far* better," LOL! How could anyone say something that stupid? Not ONE can win against this phenomenon called Tommy Johansson! Ever!
furthermore I didn't say this boy Tommy is not a good singer....he is great...This kind of contest is not fair....there are 03 different versions and styles....fools act like cheerleaders devoted to one or another....they can't be compared....and Dan is much better. I still live in a world where my opinion in my opinion and ..that's it.
Tommy is ok but like the guy said . Too polished... I like the raw grit and emotion Dan has .. the best part of Tommy was the guitar... I've tried to like him... Everyone tells me I will but I just can't... Dan is my kinda metal... Tommy is ABBAA vibes for sure.. I like ABBA but Dan is metal and so much more
Tried not to go into this prejudiced… 😂. Very hard for this Dan Vasc fan. Appreciated every single rendition, each have their own merits and you both expressed them perfectly IMO. Sorry but for me Dan has a finesse with his power gravel and overall presence. It’s Dan for me. 😊
Dan and tomy for sure are a heavy metal voice and dimas voice is different he has as suite light voice that will match to almost any kind of music whitch Dan and Tomy will cry for it. But for this cover as it is as it a heavy met 20:41 al ...of course both of them better
I haven’t played poker in around 12 years, but for around 5 or 6 years we used to have a weekly Poker Night at our place. My husband loves the game, and respects how I played. He describes my style as “tight aggressive” and usually representing the value of my hand, although I got more bold with bluffing as time went on. He could usually guess what kind of cards I had by how I bet, but he doesn’t ever remember getting reads from my face. By the way, Dan Vasc has an excellent cover of “Poker Face”. He and Victor did a much better job than Lady Gaga in my ever-so-humble opinion. (Is that one on the list? If not, it needs to be.)
All three are very good singers. I'm a fan of both Tommy and Dan, and though I appreciate Dimas' voice he doesn't do anything for me. My choice on this song would be Dan Vasc.
