Thanks, GameTrailers. I always wondered why the credits on NES games were filled with pseudonyms like that. I didn't know there was much risk of game creators being poached by competitors, given Japan's "salaryman" system, corporate anthems, and so forth.
Absolutely! How did that come about? Did you learn any interesting history from her? It's kind of crazy how even the gender of the creators was made secret in these pseudonyms, with Kinuyo being credited as "James Banana".
True, the narrator is one of my favorite parts about watching Pop Fiction videos. he just seems so in sync with what he's talking about. Not to mention that Legend of Zelda Timeline... =D
Well, how bout you guys at GT make a pop fiction episode where you guys try to track down the creator? Surely the people who made the sequel games may have some connection to it.... like the music composer... etc.
We don't even know who is invented walkman, it just say "Sony product" (that's it) Japan have history to hide their creative minds, until people like Shigeru Miyamoto, Yu Suzuki, and Hideo Kojima came along.
According to a Google search, there are 4 designers listed, and they could all be the creator of Castlevania. On another note, although Bloodstained has IGA involved, looking at the developer behind it, it could be bad. Amature Studio is responsible for: the Vita versions of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, The Unfinished Swan (PS4 version as well), and the Vita version of Injustice. They also made: Arkham Origins: Blackgate (all versions) and The Handsome Collection. Besides Bloostained, they are also working on ReCore and Dead Star.
I loved this game. But I sucked at it. Never could get past the outside water stage. No wait, I once got farly deep into the latter part of the game. Only to die by hunchback. Or moving plateform, I don't rember which. Still awesome game.
Title says who created the og castlevania. So hyped. Game Trailers says the developers used sudonymns in the credits. Video ends. My face after watching: (T_T)
dun think the names are spoof, it is kinda obviously mistranslated following Japanese pronunciation, although it is mentioned solely during belmont's case
