You can tell Bungie Halo was the best simply by how consistent the gameplay was between their games, meanwhile every 343 Halo has been drastically different. Bungie hit gold and knew what to do with it meanwhile 343 still have their head in the sand pretending that Halo is a dying franchise with no future
I would say infinite plays very similar to 5, things like the scout pistol is just the gun fighter pistol from H5. Sad to say that 343i have had more time with Halo then Bungie at this point and yet they have yet to nail down a a play style. The only thing 343i have gotten good at is destroying Halo gameplay and storyline.
@internetmeta Exactly. I don't get this opinion some have that Infinite is somehow an amazing return to form. For me Infinite feels like Halo 5 without the enhanced mobility and with a worse sandbox.
Tbh the best game 343i have made to date would be Halo 5 Beta but that's also the farthest thing from Halo they've ever made. Base Halo 5 still to this day plays very janky and the sand box is all messed up bc it was meant for a different play style that of the Beta. Somehow infinite doesn't fair any better then base Halo 5 imo.
Pretending? It *is* a dying franchise with no future. Any love I had for this franchise has been effectively kiIIed thanks to 343. If that's how I feel, imagine how others feel. It's not even dying. It's been dead. For an entire decade
In other words, have you heard about what Marty O'Donnell said recently about DEI in the gaming industry, and how devs are essentially pressured into pushing woke messages out of fear of the loud minority. He's very right about it. To add on to it, I don't think games are even made for gamers anymore, and instead are made sully for investors so the devs receive more DEI money. These games don't even need to succeed, because the developers will still get payouts in the end. Which is why we will countine to see such a constant onslot of woke games even though audiences have clearly grown tired of it. I think at this point we should either learn to make our own media or support smaller creators that dont push DEI.
Halo 1 2 and 3 were masterpieces, reach was pretty good, 4 was dogshit, 5 was only redeemed by the custom games and warzone, and infinite is about the only decent halo made by 343 and that was only made possible a year after launch because of how rushed it was
Infinite is terrible. It’s 343’s worst campaign and multiplayer by far, so it’s definitely the worst halo. The last good Halo was made 17 years ago, everything since has been utter dogshit.
I've had people tell me halo 4 is their favorite game that its a masterpiece then I get told by the same person that halo 4 was the first game and only halo game they have ever really played. Needless to say some opinions are not valid
Lol yeah, I notice so many people have such strong opinions about games when they have very limited experience with games. Often times I find people endorse certain mods/games when they have little or no experience with the source material. It's half the reason why so many games feel the same these days. In reality we need gatekeeping to some degree. Was trying to work on a script for that this week but wasn't happy with it so I scrapped it. Plus I've just been busy at my regular job.

You should make a part 2 asking everyone who would be worse for Halo, modern Bungie or 343. So happy when Bungie fell off a cliff I didn’t really care since I only really cared about Halo and Marathon was basically dead until recently. Their downfall is one of the FUNNIEST things in recent memory🤣. Honestly, both are so bad that Microsoft’s original plan for Gearbox Software to take over Halo might’ve been the better choice. At least then Halo’s decline would’ve been funny because Chief would act like Duke in Duke Nukem Forever, and we’d get Aliens Colonial Mariones with Halo marines😂
Watching the latest Halofollower rag about Marty O'Donnell calling Halo woke it suddenly all became so much clearer to me. The bizarre forced positivity, the cringey lore retconning videos it all suddenly popped into to place. It's cause they agree with the woke. Knowing that makes it so much easier to switch off. Genuinely can't think of a single thing that 343 have added to Halo after Bungie left that's made the series better in any way at all. It's sad. 343 have held the reigns for longer than Bungie and all they've done is drive this IP into the ground. From the king of XBox to a forgotten afterthought that some people kind of sort of know as 'Oh the green man from Fortnite lol'. Fuck 343. The midnight launches of Halo 2 and 3 barely seem real anymore, and I was there for both of them...
They both have ups and downs. Bungie were always greedy-scum bags and they didn't know how to make good weapon play. Meanwhile 343 just...sucks at taking notes from what fans want.
Halo 3 campaign was good the multiplayer honestly I’ll pass it just wasn’t for me not bad or anything just didn’t really feel it I enjoyed reach the most I’d say infinite is probably my second favourite for one reason and its the forge mode Forge is the one thing that 343 have done consistently well in fact it’s the only part of infinite that gets “content” anymore that’s definitely so they can be lazy but I get a cheap laugh out of playing dodgeball with throwable suicide grunts with the fellas every now and again
Because I don't play Destiny. Haven't since the catastrophe of the first one. I actually do have a video planned on my issues with Bungie but at the end of the day Destiny wasn't a long established franchise. It sucked from the start.

343's only good things (Which even then are questionable) are MCC and it's modding support for PC, Free Halo Wars Genesis comic offer with an Infinite update for Mark IV, and higher poly versions of already debuted armors thanks to Infinite, they'd be better off just employees doing side content for BUNGIE had they not left, Frankie should've known his place. 😂
I don't know I think Halo Infinite looks like shit graphically. As for the mod 'support' it's pretty piss poor. Alot of workshop mods still require manual installation and I've heard from modders the tools they've been given are quite limited.
Halo custom edition had the best modding scene The only thing you required to have were the map so you could play with other people MCC lacks a modded server browser, and even then the dewrito guys made it with an auto download function 343 are a bunch of talentless bums
@@BrokenCircle1 Agreed, Custom edition did better as proof with most of it's mods and thats from 2003 to hype up Halo 2. Infinite sucks in graphics yes, looks like a higher poly AI upscale of a PS3 game, especially the "Mark VII" which looks like an AI generated spartan. 💀 But hey, positive is the higher poly models like Mark V B, Mark VI, Mark IV, and ORION armors due to MCC and Halo FINITE, along with Digsite which imo is just a desperate dig for cut content to readd, Anniversary and Infinite models for ONLY A COUPLE GUNS. Everything else? Trash, Frankie should've stayed the community manager for 343 when it was founded.
@@BrokenCircle1 With what he attempted to do with BUNGIE's lore, I would've just left him in 343 as the community manager again and have his job be dead end, either fired on sight of any mistake he makes or have him quit on his own, to me, it'd let him know that he ain't going any further toward the top after what he pulled with the terminals, at least if I were in the position of a former BUNGIE staff member picked to be the CEO of 343.
