I feel like Maneskin somehow managed to stay true to the original and yet make it feel totally different in terms of vibe. I like all the versions, but theirs, for me, is a perfect example of a cover done all the way right.
Same opinion here. They stayed true whilst making it their own, which is not an easy thing to pull off. That being said each version is amazing in its own way.
Huh, I thought I could hear him begging me to like it. But honestly it was my least favorite of the three, although he was right behind the original both were way behind the Maneskin cover.
The Madcon version was my childhood. Every time I hear that song it reminds me of spending my youth with my mom going to the movies watching Taking of Pelham 123 😭😭🔥🔥🔥
I'll always love the Madcon version, grew up with that initially and never gonna change. The Måneskin version is good aswell, but I gravitate more towards Madcon.
@@nativeamericanUSArmy god forbid people like modern popular music more than a few decade old song that’s entirely different from the version we know and love
@@minuteman4205 You felt smart for that didn’t you? The simple fact remains that the original comment is correct. Each version are from completely different decades using completely different genres and styles. It’s hard to compare them beyond it all being the “same” song. It’s like comparing Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston’s versions of “I Will Always Love You.” There two completely different styles and focus on different vibes and emotions.
Madcon's version for life man.... It feels heavy and original... Also Logic made his version too using Madcon's version and it's dope asf, so yes Madcon it is 💕💯
The phrase used for this doesn’t really show Frankie punching it. Frankie maxed it out with coolness. The dudes in the middle seem to understand the song too.
The Madcon version was the first version I knew so definitely the best imo Edit: Alright I said imo you happy now? Edit 2: Omg how stupid can people be
@@RaptorsDot your prob right. Music been sample since it was created. I read somewhere theirs only so many notes possible where eventual they repeat. Seem pretty Rational
All praise to the OGs but not gonna lie, Madcon's version has soul. That song is an emotion. Those who playes Pro Evolution Soccer, will have more reasons to love it
I think it depends on what you need to Hear the time. They all have a different vibe and flow, maneskin is really good for anger and angst and I love his voice in it but madcon is just so smooth it makes you wanna move, Frankie is that good old-timey vibe for slow songs
i was born in 2008, so from a completely unbiased perspective i can confidently say they both did the best with the tools available at the time and every musician was talented to the point where any version can appeal to any demographic, hope that makes sense.
The original is my favorite. The madcon cover was fantastic and this newest cover is fine. But it's definitely got its own little twist on it especially with the added lyrics and what not
Madcon did the best job to integrate mainstream music of the time while still matching the tempo and tone of the original. And the original is good, but for modern music it obviously isn’t fitting for today’s taste. For each respective time period, I think Madcon still has it locked down as the best
The Madcon - the first version I've heard The four seasons - the version I've never heard of Maneskin - the version I'm fed up with Shocking blue - the version I like
Did you realise what Frankie Valli and 4 seasons compose more that 60 years ago??? Some of you I think not. That s visionary and complete actual to hear. Fenomeno
Maneskins version is the my favorite (I know, I’m young). But what I really like is that they’re bringing back rock and roll, which is what our generation really needs
Madcon was the first version I ever heard and will always be the best imo. Every time I hear that version I immediately think abt the water scene from Step Up 3 and Moose on his BMX😂…good times.
All three are great. The new age version with the rasp has edge and emotion/ frustration. Relate able. The smooth RnB style flow is melodic and almost jazzy, and the original is just great because it’s original. It was new and original in its own era and was blazing a trail into the music scene
