Been a while since I uploaded, been extra busy both work wise and personally, but should be back to usual now ! today were installing downlights and security lights, drop us a comment what you'd like to see on the channel thanks
Another top video Sean 👍🏻 think I’ll be giving them Philips flood lights a try next time the remote option is way more convenient than messing around with the dials
got to do it, I usually have a few pendants in my van that are only used for this reason, they’ve probably been used for about 7 days in total and are covered in plaster, paint, you name it 😂😂
Just thought I’d add, I used to actually fix them up to the ceiling but when the plasterer arrives the next day he just takes them down anyway, seems pointless trying 😂
Yeah but people will always complain that it's not safe or fixed properly. They always have something to comment on when you do something they wouldn't
Nice job mate. 👏 When I patch a ceiling back up, I run intumescent sealant around the edge of the holes. It generally edges plasterers towards skimming as it fairly flush with no gaps and go towards reinstating the fire rating of the ceiling.
Table D1 appendix D in the onsite guide gives you the horizontal and vertical spacing of clips depending on the overall diameter of cable. Like you said in the real world it's normally the length of the tool you are using.
Nice one Sean, really like the look of those outside lights with the remote,I fancy getting one of those for my back door, good humour as usual big pal 👍
It’s a really handy feature on the floodlights really. Saves messing with a tiny dial on the fitting to adjust everything. Been using these for around a year now and had no issues 🤚🏻 🪵
@@Cablesmith M8, that sounds so funny. The manc clean air zone... very Metropolitan. Don't U know. 😂 One thing if you were to end up getting one of them White Elephants is you'd never get cold... pushing it from job to job due to Range Anxiety (as well as actual s#it range). And then there's the charging infrastructure... how long would you give them until they'd be trashed eh. Heres to the future😅
Sean, me lad. What a nice job on that outside light. Such an improvement over that last bodge that was up there. Also, you really do a nice job with fitting the down lights, taking into consideration joists, furniture, sinks, etc. Very good work. Best to keep the tool jokes to yourself mate. 😆😆😆
Good video mate 👌🏻 shame you couldn't get a board up from upstairs, 1st time I've seen the Philips outside light with Remote looks a good bit of kit I will be trying it out on the next one, what type of maintenance free joints do you use pal?
I could have got most access from above on this one, however the owner was having a big patio door put in, new kitchen etc so she said she’d rather all the mess to be in the same room, there’s a plasterer coming anyway. I use wago boxes and 222 wagos
Hello young Sean, have you been too busy to post videos to entertain old sods like me? I still think you sound like Liam Gallagher. Looking at that ceiling it reminded me of the lawn in my old house when the moles took a liking to it.
