as a romanista i have to disagree with you & say that DDR's firing was completely deserved. he had not won a game since April!!! & that included not 1 but 2 losses to tiny Empoli....& the 2nd of those losses was at home after spending 120m euros, which coming after Mourinho was only allowed to spend 7m over 2 seasons was clearly unacceptable. i don't think that its asurprise that immediately after 5months without a victory that since Juric took over that he has 2 wins & 1 draw in 3 games. *BTW I was in Athens last week to go watch a Panathiniaikos game with some Pana fans i know as our clubs are twinned with each other & you are wrong about Olympiakos not being representative of a region of Athens. their correct name is Olympiakos Piraeus and they represent Piraeus which is the port/beach area on the outskirts of the city
