I said Chad just cause it seemed most like a Chad or Geoff thing cause fiona to my knowledge hasn't been to too many cons least with a big enough group and then it just seemed more chad then geoff, then the furry one screamed out fiona to me for some reason so then the last one had to be geoff

Chris Whiting What about it doesn’t make sense? There are 3 players (two of the players are groups); the Deceivers, the Audience, and the Player. The Deceivers aren’t _trying_ to be caught, (kind of the opposite) so the one telling the truth getting points for _being caught_ doesn’t make sense. As it is, it’s a 3 competitor scoreboard. The aim is for either the Deceivers, the Audience, or the Player to lose (by proxy of everyone else winning). Making it 5 players when 3 of them are _still on the same side_ doesn’t make sense.

@@alecLogan The only issue I see with it is that if the deceivers were trying to "win" by any means possible, the contestant would face a situation where the person that would be actually being truthful would be incentivized to be as terrible as possible at telling their truthful story, and the liars are meant to lie as well as possible to make the contestant pick them. Ideally, you would want it such that all 3 are trying to describe their story, real or not, as well as they physically can. As it stands, the person who actually has the item, or actually received their own story, or actually is the one whom the story is about should actively try to tell their story/describe their item as poorly as they possibly can basically. While it likely won't happen with roster teeth because of the organization trying mostly to create an entertaining show, and they likely don't care who actually ends up doing the worse, as it stands right now it disincentives anyone who is actually telling the truth from ever trying to tell a good or entertaining story. The counter arguement to that of course is that it's a show about lying, why shouldn't they try to be bad at telling the truth, but that feels a bit cheap for anyone who would compete on the show that the person who is being truthful is actively sabotaging their chances of winning, which I could see making it feel like a game of mostly chance to some people

There definitely should be something for the reveal. It's very anti-climactic right now.

The game is based on talking and tone, so inflection is super important. I feel like music would make it much more difficult, so I’m not sure adding background music would actually add anything.

I knew Geoff was being truthful(he's lived a strange life and almost any story would be believable from him). Chad I could tell lied as he couldn't think of a conversation he had with a furry so he just said that some just choose not to speak in costume, which fair enough some might, but I highly doubt that the ones that'd make that choice are the ones going out to large social gatherings where interaction and communication would be necessary, also it requires some heavy suspension of disbelief to think they wouldn't "break character" in an emergency situation like that. Even more solidifying to my earlier thoughts was Fiona's story which she gave the same age as she did in her other fake story(19 seemed to be her go-to for a random age to throw out), as well as her taking the time to describe what a conga-line was to put off/dodge the question to buy time to make up an answer as well as run out the clock. In a way our methods of getting to the correct answer is a lot of what makes the game interesting in the first place. Some people over-explain and give a lot of elaboration(like me) and some have simpler and shorter explanations. So where one person may lie with short answers, and tell the truth with a long story, others may do the opposite.

@@VoltageXXII Well in the post-show Chad explains that the furry he was describing is real, and he met before. It's a really weird story.

They did that with On The Spot. Works with an RT staff audience but not with a fan/regular audience.

I actually think there is. They just seem to keep quiet. As Geoff mentions that Millie is in the audience, as well as the off-screen cough that can be heard and Jeremy mentions. It's likely that it's a similar audience set up to early On The Spot where it's likely just a few RT employees/family who aren't in audio focus to be noticed unless there's a loud noise(such as a cough).

Yeah, classic liar tell, of recreating the same 'facts' for a diffrent lie, as because you got away with it, your brain then stores it, and in some cases even starts to convince the persons own memory that it is real. All very fascinating.
