Who has better mechanics? Zen vs Joyo 

weren't those Zen highlights specifically from his 1v1 winstreak on Johnnyboi's stream? I still think overall Joyo has better mechanical goals, but that wasn't a fair montage to judge Zen from.

To put it in super OG Cod terms "wins over spins" Zen does things you can do but 20x faster, regardless of how fancy the goal is it's worth 1 point. Zen also plays more "mechanical" in 3s where the misdirection of air rolling (spinning) matters more. Zen all day Quick edit: obviously the ability to do freestyle like mechanics has it advantages I just see the ability to play just as good from the wall/ceiling as you do to the floor as more impressive

honestly, mechanicly I'd go for joyo, but effectiveness and competitiveness I would go for zen.

Joyo is definitely flashier and his clips are more insane, but Zen has the most pure control of his car out of anyone in the game. While Joyo can hit crazier clips, Zen knows his car better and always takes the most efficient path to score.

I think joyo has a better skill when it comes to general mechanics but doesn’t have the consistency and understanding that zen has. I think joyo’s montage felt more like a highlight real of his freestyles wear as a viewer without context would find zen’s monatge less impressive as he performs mechanics more to score the goal rather than to freestyle for a sick clip. That my take anyway, feel free to disagree I don’t care❤

Joyo has the better mechs, but Zen is way more tactical with mechanics. Like you see Joyo is down 3-0 when Joyo hits a crazy mech, but Zen always seems to use a curtain mechanic at the right time.

When I saw this title my immediate thought was “oh he got zen and joyo to play rocket league horse” or compete in a training pack or workshop map or something. I’m not sure if you’re as well connected among the eu pros but I think something like this rather than the usual vod review would be really standout especially with your thoughts and insight. I feel like Zen's more flawless and efficient but movements are easier to predict but joyo is wild and more unpredictable. You watch zen he keeps his reset most of the time and stalls the defender and if they do pre jump then he decides to use it, whereas joyo, you don't know where he's going or what he's gonna do in the air.

In terms of mechanics, Joyo but in terms of efficiency, precision and speed Zen is waaaaay ahead. Joyo is closer to a freestyler and Zen is the definition of a rlcs player.

The first thing that I want to say is: it is not fair. On the conclusion Zen is "just" an RLCS player and nothing more (winning trophies, regionals, ecc...). He is mechanical, yeah but Joyo "was" and i think still is a professional freestyler(not sure). When it comes to mechanics as I said Joyo is quite better than Zen . But Zen achieved more trophies than Joyo and he is still on one of the best teams in the world (respect to KC), not like Joyo. Joyo was for a short time on the top lead, and then just dissepeared after the "downfall" of Team Queso( The old name of Moist Esport). Second thing is that they did not play in the same "era", Joyo was 2 years ago(not sure), Zen came in RLCS much before than Joyo(back in 2015, im not sure) but he got banned, so he actually have more experience than Joyo. And is still active right now on Team Vitality. Joyo is a player that just came from nothing to be one of the best of that season where he played. Zen got hyped only because of the 1v1s matches on Jonnyboi_i channel, but the he got defeanted by NWPO (im not sure if it is NWPO). Anyways he got hyped for the 1v1s, and when he came on the field (RL ofc) everybody was going to cheer him just because of that, so Zen had a "better" debut than Joyo. But on the very last conclusion; Mechanic: Joyo>Zen. Overall: Joyo
