Oca pastaficio is definately legit. Their dishes are well balanced and subtle in flavour which is not something you find in Vancouver for Italian cuisine. Ask for Luigi is definitely a classic! Big bold flavours, both of them to me are top contenders and are one of the only few places that focuses on scratch made pastas

Thank you. This has been so helpful….as I’m visiting Vancouver in August. By the way…… it’ll help your pronunciation if you don’t say the G. So tagliatelle becomes taliatelle. So GL becomes LY. So conkilye because CH = K in Italian. Simple rules and you’ll always pronounce it correctly. Like bruschetta = Brusketta! Hope that helps. The food looks stunning! Thanks xx I think I’ve decided I have to have the squid ink pasta and seafood at Luigi! Going to dream about it till then! 😅
