I got right with God today. It was chapel at my Junior High and High Schoolers where there too. It brought tears too my eyes when when someone shared there story that they jumped in front of a car and God grabbed him and said, "You are mine" I ran away from home once than came back and since then I was really angry. Then hearing his story reminded me of my own and I realized I am here to serve God. Now I apologized to my girlfriend. Who I am hates who I've been. But God forgives us.

As a Christian I like this song best out of the most young Christianity songs that plays nowadays. It sends a good message that every Christian as well as others sin no matter how hard we try, but we shouldn't just let it take over our lives and try to hide it from the Lord because we are ashamed. But we should show him so we can change because we wish to change our sinful ways. BTW This song has a kick ass beat.

I was never a cutter or (very) suicidal or had anything too traumatic happen to me. I just had self esteem issues and trouble with figuring out what was going on with me. I used to be so depressed. I was extremely rude, disrespectful, sad, and moody. I hated myself in every way possible. I hated my looks, my body, who I was as a person. I had even cut myself. I had thought about killing myself. Then I grew up and got over it. I stopped being a terrible friend, daughter, and a person. I stopped doubting God. This song really hits home because who I am now.... I really do hate who I was before.

In my case, I'd say make amends to those you have wronged. I feel everyone had a chapter in their lives they aren't proud of. However, I totally agree with you. When you take all the good and the bad, you grow, evolve, and can constantly improve upon yourself. "To err is human, to forgive is divine." It's just as important to forgive others of their transgressions against us as it is to forgive yourself for your human mistakes.

I love this song. It speaks to me because I have recently done a 180 with my life. I used to be the good girl who followed the rules and did what I was supposed to. Then I started smoking weed and cigarettes, and drinking & partying, not caring about anyone else. It was fun while it lasted, but it wasn't me, and I hated the fact that I lost myself. I'm grateful that I was able to quit and get my life where I want it to be.

It's about the relationship with God. This person made so many mistakes in his life to the point that he acknowledges that he had crossed the line. He is so sorry for what he has done. When he became a new person by accepting Jesus Christ; the new person hates who he was and won't make mistakes again. This is the purpose of Jesus Christ dieing; to get "it" right with God; to have a second "chance" He gave us.

Dated a girl for two years, she left me and I felt lost, and my heart got cold, and it was hurting the people close to me. This song really makes me realize what a cold person I've become when the real me is outgoing and happy. Reliant K can really hit close to a lot of their fans hearts and bring us back from the slump we're in, I believe they'll have me as their fan for a very long time because of this.

You're right! Matt Thiessen wrote the song in Australia in light of a feud with Brian Pittman, the band's bassist. The lyrics reflect remorse for his behavior, as well as pleas for forgiveness. So it's actually a guy writing about his feud with his friend. Not a girlfriend or bible related.

This is one of the songs that describes exactly how I feel...I hurt my best friend/boyfriend so much in the past and didn't love him as much as I should've. Didn't say a lot of the things I should've said. Now he's left me...two days before our one year anniversary...Christmas Day. I am so broken. He still means the world to me.
