It’s not close… lol..
These dolls are really stunning. I'm a bit sad that they both don't have glasses - I worry Clawdeen may lose her glasses... but I'm sure she likes to wear contacts sometimes so it's not an issue - I just wear glasses 100% of the time so I like seeing bespectacled dolls... Is that a word? I think both dolls are super cute and fun but the uniqueness and the quality of the Monster Ball doll truly blew me away! I was not expecting her to be that nice!

i adore clawdeen's fashion style in gen3 (that i think is most clear in ss1 and fashion studio and the new beach line) its a really sick acidy 90s aesthetic, its just a shame she always has stupid poly!!!

I def like monster ball over any skulltimate secrets tbh. I actually liked monster ball better than basic core dolls too. Def don’t know why Mattel is making so many Drac & Clawdeen though it’s a bit overkill for me. Like I’m just anxious for new characters to release like Heath & meowlody and purrsephone etc 🤞🤞🤞

Monster Ball was my first G3 Clawdeen and the first series that I intend to complete entirely (just waiting for Frankie). The saran hair and interesting suit in a gorgeous colour are what sealed the deal for me with this Clawdeen. The lips are a little much, but I was around in the era of strong lipliner, so it's not totally weird to me.

Monster ball wins for me, I prefer her accessories and outfit. Agree with your opinion on accessories, that locker could easily be all cardboard and get rid of all but one of the keys to make room for a stand. The monster ball could get rid of the balloons for the same reason.

Clawdeen is one of my favs since day 1 but the hair really is one of the things I care most on a doll and when I knew monster ball had ankle lenght saran omg I was so happy, she was my first g3 Clawdeen and no regrets, even compared to Sweet 1600 she has one of the most unique looks in all mh, I wish de donut plate had the ring so the doll can hold it but overall I dont have much negativo to say about her, but I have to admit I see the potential on Skulltimate Secrets, such great video!

Love your video as usual. I love how in depth your reviews are. It feels like so many G3 monster high dolls have been released. I'd love a video where you could reflect on what has been released so far and your hopes for the future etc

Aha that one’s been on the list for MONTHS but I’m so behind on reviewing the current releases D: I want to make sure my opinion is well rounded but I don’t necessarily need them all. In addition to those I’ve actually reviewed I have (and still need to review) SS2 Clawdeen, SS1 Frankie, hair Lagoona, fashion studio Clawdeen and Clawd) … and then I actually need to get MB Lagoona, Drac and SS2 Frankie… I think it may be fun to do it in October for the “year” anniversary of g3! I can’t believe it’s only been a year!!

random: i love the buckethat, so cute,… just today i thought how weird it was that so far you only reviewed cleo from the monsterballline and i would love to see the rest, hope lagoona is next( i feel’like draculaura… even though she isn’t a copy of another draculaura, she I FEEL LIKE is a combination of multiple other draculauras), also i just realized randomly how the artwork shows cleo with bangs, while the doll does’t have’em…the pink in clawdeens hair i DO NOT LIKE…do you think you will do coloursplash stella, i watched a video of you infront of the winxwall and noticed musa and got reminded… ❤t.

Monster ball Clawdeen is the only G3 MH I really really want. I like all of them obviously but as I have to make drastic choices, I think that Monster Ball Clawdeen is exceptional and very cohesive. Also beautiful saran hair.... SS is great fashion fun still. But the pp hair.... Really a shame. I wonder what's your favorite G3? A ranking/ favourite video would be great. Or a video summing up the state of MH G3 right now. I love a good chat and/ or current thoughts about a doll line

I don't have Monster Ball Clawdeen, but I really don't like her hair color, it looks all muddled together. I miss G1's greens and purples. I got SS1 Clawdeen in part because of the bright pink in the front

I have the Skulltimate Secrets Clawdeen, there is just something about the design of Monster Ball that doesn't jive with me. I think maybe it's her hairstyle, which is a real shame since I am hating the way the poly hair feels.

want to note that the reason clawdeen has been given poly for… almost a year is suspected because of that blonde color, and further more why other characters have poly (frankie & abbey) poly in mh is most likely used because of the variety of all colors, clawdeen being the rosie blonde and frankie & abbey for the stark white poly can give and not saran but then why does ss2 have poly? cleo shared the same color as ghouluxe ghoulia and lagoona has the same colors as spa day well… theory is 1. it has the gimmick of an additional accessory, being a fur stole and 2. the fact they remodel the lockers and keys again.. in theory 😥 but just a short -explanation- theory of why poly is being used in g3 also thank you for making these videos i can speak out that they ARE useful for deciding between a doll 👍 (for the poly situation though i am hopeful and feel that based off of some stuff poly use will dwindle down..)

@@cesarionoexisto2848 it just seems weird to only have a select few dolls to have poly, if they wanted to cheap out couldn’t they just use poly on everyone instead of just 3 select dolls usually? that’s what confuses me and believing that main dolls having poly is because of color choices makes the stance of ss2 having all poly make more sense, showing that they could use poly for all dolls for budget reasons and would

How do you know Polyproplyine vs saran vs nylon?

The texture is very different (especially after washed if you want to eliminate box hair/ potential crunchy gel). Rainbiw/shadow high dolls have nylon so if you know anyone with those if you want a touch sample, but is so much slicker & smooth to touch than saran & polypropylene. Saran is more waxy to touch (like parchment paper has that waxy feel) & has the best water retainment(how long the water stays on the fiber) vs both nylon & poly (both shed water much quicker, I have struggled to get polypropylene very wet at all without a full soak.) You could try to also get dolls you know have each fiber to touch compare them. G3 Abbey, g3 Clawdeen, most main g3 cleo releases has polypropylene, even skulltimate secrets fearidescent has all polypropylene. Most monster high dolls with have saran (or if you are looking at old ghoulia's, kanekalon, but idk as much about that beyond it is more floaty since I don't have a doll with it.) I have a cleo & she is my basis of polypropylene feeling but she is treated polypropylene with tinsel so both slightly better (but worse feeling from tinsel, yes I am a hater) you can prolong the life of polypropylene by keeping it moisture with a "spa say" every so often. (I had my cleo for a few months so about to do it again for her.) Admittedly I am not the most experienced but this was my experience as a not very advanced doll collector to hope others newer can find it easier to identify.

Idk what kind of hair the monsterball Draculaura has but I HATE it! Her bangs and bun look nice but the rest of her hair is so gross and unmanageable. I’ve already tried to brush through it. It’s like a coarse rat’s nest that will never look or feel good. Idk if hot water with help at all. Im so disappointed in the hair they chose. I guess I only really like the rainbow high hair.
