I understand that a lot of people do reactions to the boys for the clout but it’s his channel and if you watched the whole thing you can tell that he was genuinely interested in getting to know them, off the bat just by seeing one video or hearing one song you can’t expect someone to automatically like it or the artist, they need to hear and see more and I’m pretty sure that was the case for a lot of people including me.

I dont think it is about the type of humour, west/east. Its more like bts has gotten so many bad comments that are said with hate that army has gotten really protective. They have been called girls because they use stage makeup and dress fashionable, they are said not to be real rappers because they are in a pop idol group, they are commented gay, ugly, untalented, you name it. It makes us suspect all that people say, like is it said with hate or just out of ignorance. But thanks for giving them a chanse again!

Reference on-point with Tech9 and Twista. They pay homage often to other American hip hop artists. You might like their song “Hip Hop Phile” where they reference KRS-1 among many others. Really cool of you to check em out like this though. I actually got exposed to BTS only about a month ago and then I fell into a BTS wormhole and haven’t escaped yet! These guys are really dope to me. I’m a 38-year old, American male, married with kids! Took the whole fam to their recent show at the sold-out Rose Bowl. Place was SO lit! Been to hundreds of concerts in my lifetime and this blew them all out of the water and it’s not even close.

to answer your question, yes they're always around each other, they have a dorm together and have been together since 2010-2011, debuted in 2013. Bighit (bts' company) held auditions but RM was actually performing at a small show with other rappers, a bighit employee happened to see him and immediately asked him to sign with their company and so he became the first bts member. what makes bts different and stand out the most from a lot of other 'kpop' groups is their creative freedom, only recently have companies let their artist touch their work, and even then there's probably less than 10 out of the hundreds of groups in korea that dip their fingers into their music and, that bts don't come from a big company, meaning they have 0 influence and basically had very little money to even feed them at times. our fandom is much bigger than 14M by now definitely check out their cyphers 2&3 and outro tear (my personal fave) 💜

Please tell me where you guys are getting the data for 90M count. I haven't been able to find anything conclusive. Since that is almost twice the population of Korea, and every 1.2 people out of 100 of the Earth's population would be ARMY, It seems high. I can't get my estimate above 25M. Are you referencing this Jan 2019 Forbes article? Because it says BTS has helped raise the fanbase of the entirety of Hallyu/Korean Wave to about 90M - not that BTS itself has 90M fans. I'm very confused where the big numbers are coming from. Thx! 💜 www.forbes.com/sites/caitlinkelley/2019/01/11/bts-lead-growth-of-hallyu-90-million-fans-2018/#5eb75b3670bc
@trivialove6336
@trivialove6336 5 лет назад
@@flyushkifly I was also confused but was corrected so I thought I was wrong, my original number was over 25M but that's just from their sns, we can't count official numbers, especially in china where bts are insanly popular. Forbes articles aren't as reliable either tbh since they've had countless miscalculations but 90M is huge perhaps it's 25-28M?
@flyushkifly
@flyushkifly 5 лет назад
@@trivialove6336 That is what I figured. My very very unscientific research: I looked at all the numbers on various social media, including Korean and Southeast Asia, (forgot weibo, tho, darn it!), estimated overlap, multiple stan accounts, thought about fan density (the Philippines have the biggest fanbase!), and averaged the heck out of it and being generous got me to 25M. I may also have had a gin and tonic. So I think you are probably closer when you add in China. I'd feel better if I could find Forbes's source for the hallyu fans and read Korean! 😂 This is a big deal to me because I think ARMY needs concrete numbers when facing xenophobic jerks.

I thought I would explain the difference in how the big entertainment companies operate in S. Korea as compared to N. America, etc. In N. America an artists manager, label, PR, etc are usually separate entities. In K-Pop they are all handled by the one company. Many of these companies also handle different types of artists: musicians, actors, models, dancers, MCs, etc. So for example, before BTS Jin was scouted on the street by a big company who would have been looking at him as a possible model or actor for his good looks. And J-Hope auditioned as a dancer and only after learned how to rap. How it works is you audition for the company, and if you pass the audition you become a 'trainee'. Unlike N.America where you are responsible for your own training, there the company trains the artist. Thus why so many of them are so young when they become trainees. Then, only when the company sees where your strengths lay will you be given the chance to debut. For some this means they are trainees for years, generally three to five years is normal, before they ever perform. It is definitely not a perfect system, but this is why the quality of talent is so high. BTS is a little bit different because BigHit, their entertainment company, was very small when they started and Bang PD (the CEO) had different ideas on how he wanted the group to be. The biggest difference was his insistence that members of the group be heavily involved in the writing and producing of their own songs. He delayed their debut for six months because he kept making them re-write their first single (twenty times if I remember correctly). Bang PD also believed that the members of the group liking each other was just as important as being talented (something some of the big companies don't care about). Having them all sleep in one room of a dorm as trainees was probably part of figuring this out (and the fact that BTS members, despite most of them having bought houses/apartments, still to this day live together speaks to the success if this in bonding them as a group). And this is probably more than you ever wanted to know so I'll stop lol So, yes, a lot goes into these groups before the public ever even sees them and is why there are so many multi-talented members.

BTS does have a documentary series and Movie that they did. The documentary series is on RU-vid Red called, "Burn the Stage" it was filmed during their Wings Tour and the Documentary Movie "Burn the Stage: the Movie" is an extension of the series, it gives more clips and interviews from their Wings Tour. It is not a documentary on how they got started and formed though, but they talk about a lot of different things. If you are interested in BTS you should definitely check out the documentaries. There are some other videos on RU-vid that you should check out, but I am sure others will post those for you. I have to say I watch your first reaction to BTS and was in the same boat with the other people. What you should understand is that BTS and A.R.M.Y. (fan club name) have gotten a lot of hate for a lot of things: songs, looks, clothes, performances, etc. As a fan you get tired of it. Also, the Korean Entertainment Industry is different from the American Entertainment Industry, so your performances and their performances have no comparisons. Because they sing, rap and dance at the same time, groups perform with a back up track, this lets the artist pick the areas they need so they can catch their breath and not worry about it interfering with the singing/rapping parts, they still dance but they can catch their breath from singing. For example, Jimin ( a BTS member) said that for his song Lie he performs with a full back up track sometimes because the choreography is so hard that he has trouble singing and dancing together, so with a full back up track he can concentrate on dancing and not singing in certain areas of the song. Don't get me wrong, BTS does not lip sync, but for some Korean Music shows they are made to and you can tell that they are bad at it, which proves that they do not lip sync. They have been accused of lip syncing in the past, another thing the fans and BTS hate (being accused of things we don't do). Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I watch your response video to your reaction and appreciate the clear up. BTS and A.R.M.Y. are not bad, mean, etc. we are just tired of hate, ignorance, and negativity. I hope you keep reacting to BTS, just be careful what and how you say things, because others may take it differently. It is all in how a person perceives something. Also, you have only looked into the rabbit hole be careful jumping in. ;)

BRace yourself for this long but informative read LOL. I hope you actually read it. on how they came together: Big Hit Entertainment is there label and is very small and did not have money. in fact they almost bankrupt a couple times. BTS is the reason theyre thriving now. In korea, coming from a BIG 3 (most rich labels: SM, JYP, YG) label is ideal as small company artists are treated badly due to not being rich and dont have access to resources or good living conditions. This is why BTS success is such a big deal theyre true underdogs. they were treated really badly and always had false accusations thrown at them. Even to this day media outlets are not happy of their success since they are partners with other big labels. Also all the guys have lived together since theyve signed starting from 2009 so theyve been living together almost a decade. so basically in 2009, Bighit ent (their label) heard about RM through another rapper as he was doing underground performances and wanted to sign him (he was about 15 at the time). RM was basically the whole inspiration for finding BTS (as he is also the leader) in 2010, SUGA ( 16/17 at the time) auditioned as a rapper but mainly as a producer. JHOPE (16 at the time )came in as a dancer and since he had good knowledge of hiphop from underground street dancing he decided to rap and learned a lot from RM and SUGA and has since formed his own rapping style also always wrote his own verses as all bts rappers do. and also produces. These 3 were very well known in the underground scene. There were other rappers also training with them as they were initially going to be a purely rap group, in 2011 the plan changed and they were to be a kpop group which caused alot of the other rapper trainees to drop out as they didnt want to dance and had a negative view of kpop artists. some had their own solo careers, some didnt debut and some stayed as producers. TBH a lot of these guys who dropped out are not the best people and were wrapped up in a lot of controversies of domestic abuse, misogyny, lyrics about rape..etc.. so were not to upset abt them not joining bts. SUGA also had a really hard time with it being a kpop group and wasnt sure abt staying as he wasnt planning on dancing and having to adhere to kpops more frigid rules but he is very happy with his decision since debuting so its all good. On to the vocalists, In 2011, JIN and JUNGKOOK signed with bighit. After JUNGKOOK ( 13 at the time) auditioned he got offers from 7 companies I believe including very rich and powerful companies i mentioned at the beginning, however he decided to go with BigHit because he saw RM rap and he thought he was cool and wanted to be in a group with him lol. JIN (18 at the time) was attending a prestigious University for acting and was accepted at a 1:2000 acceptance rate and the only one from his school to get early acceptance. He was scouted getting off the bus and given BigHits card and decided to audition despite not having experience and singing and dancing and made it. it was actually his second time being scouted as in high school he was scouted by SM ent the biggest label and made call backs but them decided against going through with it. JUNGKOOK was having a really hard time and almost left once bc he was so far from home and extremely shy, however JIN helped him through it as the oldest member and brought him to his family's house for dinners and took care of him so he wouldnt feel left alone. JIN has also become an exceptional singer and dancer through his hard work despite having the least experience. Later in 2011, V signed to bighit after getting noticed instead of his friend lol. JIMIN was a top dance student, and the last to join bighit in 2012, about a year before they debuted in 2013. Despite joining them later, he became really close with everyone fast through his hard work, personality and their living situation. V and JIMIN had quickly become best friends as they attended highschool together and looked out for each other. BTS have gone through a lot in their near decade together as a group. They went through so many unnecessary scandals because of people being upset that would outperform other artists from higher up companies. THey claimed BTS did Sajaegi ( which is when a company inflates album sales by purchasing them bulk to manipulate charts) and wrote countless articles however, they won they case as big hit did not have the money to even do sajaegi. They were criticized for having the same hair colours as other groups even though EVERY KPOP group has a tons of different hair colours. These were the reason for people to call them "plagiarism boys" and trend it before their first official big concert in korea happen after years of hard work. instead of talking about their amazing concert media outlets picked up on these false accusations. For the past 2 years they have finally come to a point to be financially stable (super rich) as they didnt really make any income until 2016 bc alot of the money went to the company first to pay for their production expenses except for the amount they earned from copyright claim to their share from writing or producing the songs. ok so im done, sorry for the length.

Lol differences in humor isn’t the issue. Perhaps a lack of understanding on some who don’t speak English well can lead to misunderstandings, but overall, the BTS ARMY has been through a lot with the boys and I guess we all have become overprotective. There’s also a lot of real racism towards kpop in general from many Americans these days so we are almost constantly prepared to defend our favorite groups. I’m glad you took the time to learn about BTS. They’re a great group and they’re wonderful human beings.

You should react to their rapper cypher : cypher 1,2,3,4 (fun fact: RM - the leader have an IQ of 148 this is an actual fact. So some of their lyrics is really deep. Hidden metaphors and much more since they write their own songs ) BTS used to be a hip hop group so some of their older songs have more hip hop. You should react to one of the rapper : Suga also known as August D (August D- August D) and August D- the last. They have really deep songs opening up theirs depression and anxiety issue, criticizing the korean education, expectations of society and much more.

Jhope isn't just a rapper and a dance leader in the group. This intro guide doesn't do him justice at all. This man is also one of the songwriters in the group. He has 85 writing/composing credits at The Korea Music Copyright Association (the number is very close to Suga's input, only RM has significantly more credits - 131) , even tho he started as a dancer he almost always write his verses in BTS songs (since pre-debut), he's not only lyricist but helps with melodies too, on some songs he also has credits as Recording Engineer (especially "Wings" album). For example he's one of the main songwriters in "Mic Drop" - RM confirmed that jhope is the one who should take most credits for making this song. :-) 2nd thing- actually he's also a sub-vocalist in the group, but here he's showed as he only know how to scream to the mic (he was joking with Suga while practicing the song to the special BTS festa show). That man can sing too, actually he's singing in at least 20 BTS songs :)

Everyone already recommended you rm and suga as rappers, but please also check out jhope's mixtape hopeworld he produced. The songs and rap are great especially daydream and airplane and in the newest album jhope produced the song dionysos that is🔥he has a very unique rapping style and voice tone.

Yes 'Hope World" mixtape is definitely worth checking out. It is very diversified when it comes to music styles and Jhope's delivery (rapping and singing). It's a strong release where all songs are good. Within the fandom if you asked about their fav songs from this mixtape you would probably hear all songs' titles haha. Personally I lean towards the "Base Line" which might be the dopest and completely different to aforementioned "Daydream" and "Airplane". So versatility and diversity are the strength of this mixtape which sounds more like EP :) Also I would like to add that at this moment Jhope is the most followed solo Korean artist on Spotify (over 1,6 M followers) with only one mixtape release, RM is reaching almost 1 M followers right now with two releases. Imo it says a lot about the quality of "Hope World", when you think RM and Suga are much more recognized and acknowledged as writers/producers than Hobi within the fandom.

Its different in korea you dont get recruited to a group you audition for a company and train sometimes for upwards of 10+ years(there are some who did train that long) and the company decides who out of the trainees to put into a group or go solo and you then start training with that group some make it alot dont and when i say train i mean train from vocal lessons to dancing to acting to how to act on a variety show and interviews all while still going to school and you dont live at home the minute you get accepted into a company you move into either a dorm or an apartment and all of this isnt free the training and living arrangements have to be paid back alot of groupspay everything back by their 5th yr or so then they make actual money its not easy and alot quit

You just missed a little bit in the beginning🙂 they debuted in 2013: 3 rappers, 4 vocalists. Some of them were scouted, come of them were auditioned. Some interesting facts: RM and Suga were underground rappers though J-hope started to rap after joining BTS. He said he learned how to rap mostly from the rythm of dancing (and due to RM and Suga). Jin had no background in singing and dancing. He started to learn how to sing and dance after 21 y.o. It's pretty late. Now he can take very high notes, he's a very good singer. Jimin also had no background in singing, he did dance a lot. So it's impressive to see how they improved during these years....cause most of them started smth with zero experience.

BTS debuted 2013, when most of the members were in high schools and have been living together since their trainee era, so they are like brothers to each other. All became trainee after Bighit(their label) auditions and later finalised the members of BTS. Thanks for spending your time to get to know the boys.

As an ARMY myself I personally just like seeing people learn about BTS in their own time, because that's exactly what I did. Also i recomend their rap line song DDAENG and the explained video of the song too by dkdktv an amazing track that is low key a Cypher pt5 and the wordplay for that song alone is amazing. All of their Cyphers have a lot of metaphors and korean context related wordplay that usually gets lost due to language barrier so it may be a bit hard for random listeners to understand them thats why we recomend songs with explained versions from the channel Dkdktv. I will be waiting for that reactions!!!! Sorry for the bad english im from Argentina!!

Don't get me wrong, their title tracks are great with super amazing choreo, but I think a lot of the heart of this groups lies with thier b-sides. The lyrics are super important. In a music industry where it's becoming less about lyrics/message and more about just sound/dance, BTS really focuses on saying something worth saying. I know the media is trying to shove this "next boyband" narrative down our throats, but as someone that NEVER liked boybands, this one is completely the opposite of those "stereotypes." I'm in my 30s, and I'm so glad I found them. Definitely worth checking out, especially the lyrics. Would recommend: -"Baepsae" (live performance is where it's at: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ggSR6h0ngek.html) along with the video "Baepsae Explained by a Korean" by DKDKTV (actually, the entire "Explained by a Korean" series would be great) -Cypher pt 2 (lyric video--it'll get you started on the Cypher series and will give you a better idea of the three rappers' styles) -Tomorrow (lyric video followed by BANGTANTV performance) -Come Back Home/No More Dream/MIC Drop: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-azxsjP-U7SE.html -MAMA 2016 Full Performance (the one that got me): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q_hQjxGSS7k.html Loved your reaction. You're more chill like I am, so it's nice to see someone not faking. Honestly, if you don't like something, the fandom is very understanding. It's when the close-minded, racist stuff starts getting thrown around that people start attacking from what I've seen.

In 2011 and 12, a brand new Korean music label - Big Hit - organized auditions all over South Korea. Except for the 3 rappers/producers, the 7 boys who passed the auditions didn’t know each other. The first one recruited was their leader RM (Rap Monster) though the 7 members went together through 2 years training - vocal and dancing- and made their official debut as a group in June 2013.

Quick background info about BTS . Bts is a 7 member kpop group (4 vocalist , 3 rappers ) They aren’t like your average kpop group or boyband like 1D, nsync . BTS is huge because they write & produce music with a lot of deep meaning and messages . They are known to tackle topics such as social issues : oppression , depression , anxiety, hate , bullying . Self love , self hate etc . They are also known to incorporate different genres into they’re music : hip hop , RnB , pop , edm , trap , etc South Korea is known to have a huge mental health and suicide problem . They’ve Also written songs out of personal struggles . Bts writes music to spread awareness and spread positivity . Which is why they’re unique and popular I’ve read comments from some people saying they become fans of bts because when hey we’re going through times of bullying or Suicide, they’re lyrics actually resonated within them and help them . Overall bts is huge because they put forth a lot of effort to show that “ MUSIC HAS NO LANGUAGE BARRIERS “ and has the power “ transcend & translate messages “ since kpop is half English half korean If you ever question why BTS is huge , it’s these reasons . Plus BTS struggles a lot when they debut back in 2013. They weren’t financially supported . They had to share one room cause their label couldn’t afford a better apartment . People mocked and insulted them cause came from a unknown record label . South Korea didn’t even showed some of their live performances on tv because they weren’t popular which was pretty rude and Fck up . Plus people from other kpop fandoms and kpop companies spread lies and rumors and try to destroy their careers when they notice BTS keeps growing .
@Goldjade14
@Goldjade14 5 лет назад
Another reason why BTS is huge because they have so much humbleness , and appreciation towards their fans and supporters . Despite being the biggest kpop group and biggest boyband ( yes they been name biggest boyband in the world right now and many times ) they still remain humble and thankful . No ego , no cockiness , just being thankful .

KPOP industry is really different. Labels or companies recruit youngsters and train them to be good enough products to put out to the music scene. Each artists' companies train, provide necessities, promote, produce music, decide where to go and everything related to the artists. (after a few years, artists can have more input) The labels are one stop shop so artists can focus on practicing and performing so companies can get revenue from them. (this is for KPOP industry. Other branches of Korean music are a bit different story.)

Each month, there will be evaluation to know if you're improving or not and that will go on for years until they are ready enough to debut.. How long have they been a group? They debuted in June 2013, however they worked/practiced together for about 2 years prior. Namjoon (RM, the leader of the group) joined in 2009-2010, everyone else fell into place (there is a lot of story there but basically they fully formed over the next year or so). Do they live together? Yes, they started off with an unknown company with no money on the verge of bankruptcy, their living quarters were a single bedroom with 3 sets of bunk beds + 1 bed. They now live together in a spacious dorm, but still together. When they travel they get 7 separate hotel rooms, and they do pursue their own interests outside one another when they have time, but Bangtan (BTS) is a family, there are videos titled such where you can see their brotherly relationship. In many ways they are even closer than most actual brothers. Their story is truly a classic underdog tale. They literally came from nothing, their company was broke, their path was paved with talent and dreams with no certainty of where things would end up. The kpop industry at the time was run by 3 big companies (imagine if Sony, Fox and Time Warner or something ran everything here) and so no one wanted to give them a shot. They were cut from broadcasts, they were mocked, they were told they were hopeless and that they could never amount to anything as a group. They became the first kpop group in history to win a major award that was not from the big 3 companies in 2016 I believe. Some additional things of note, K-Pop idols wear makeup, this is very common as beauty is important in the industry, however in their downtime, outside of photoshoots, performances and tv appearances they do not wear makeup very often. Close friends of the same gender are often very touchy, this is very shocking to many western people, but slapping each others thighs, or hanging on one another is not strange at all in Korean culture, it's actually more strange in Korean culture for males/females to interact this way outside of courtship or marriage. And as I am sure you have encountered sometimes it sounds like they say the N word, but in Korean language this is pronounced nee-ga or neh-ga and means "you did", "you were" "you are" or "I did" or "I am". (via Quora)

I like your reactions! Thank you🙂 Don't mind hate cause our fandom is just very sensitive about some things. I didn't find any hate comments from you cause that was your first reaction. P.S. Army, better just explain the wrong things to the person who see BTS for the first time than hate him...

I▶▶n Korea, they have Entertainment "training camps" & they work actors/singers/dancers/songwriters sooo hard, or they may never be heard by the public..Only the strong survive to make it. .. ▶▶BTS (mostly teenagers, RM first member in 2010 & others were added over time) were recruited NOT by one of the BIG THREE Korean Entertainment Companies SM, YG, YIP, but brand-new "Big Hit Entertainment" (incl. a producer they used to street rap with) w/no budget, no clout, you saw them hand out flyers on the street begging people to come to a "free" concert in a cheap venue, often sleeping 7 in a room & always practicing, practicing, so they got close real fast & very supportive of each other, all struggling! They were dissed by some rappers/dancers for leaving the undergroun, but they sang/rapped about it, in response (as if those rappers were from the Compton hood, pulleeeze)! .. ▶▶They officially debuted in 2013 but didn't really make a big splash, getting more fans in 2014, kept grinding/practicing till 2015 & were really getting noticed, but some K-Pop fans of other bands can be rough on new bands & dissed their music/or winnings/or performances, even sending petitions to demand awards be returned & given to their fav. band! To this day some Korean fan bases don't give BTS the respect they deserve...Their struggles, their incredible songwriting (about social & govt issues, anxiety, mental health, etc (NOT "b---s & h--s")/incredible rapping/singing & self-producing & savage dancing skills show they're not your typical average "boyband"..Their fans stuck w/them from their beginings, as they grew big, so did their fan base & they''ve stayed humble & very thoughtful & appreciative to their fans: "Army", whose motto is: "Love yourself & keep fighting"! .. ▶▶Btw, Asian culture has a booming beauty/health products business & take care of themselves, that's why so many boybands look handsome/pretty, they think nothing of bro-hugs/touches, or complimenting same sex on their looks, it's not "gay" to them, like our easily spooked macho culture in America..They also don't date as casually as in the West, most often you date, w/the intention to probably marry that person..BTS & many bands aren't allowed to/or just don't date, while always touring/focusing on their careers (Asians make a big deal about education)..Men & women are quite shy w/each other, actors/singers go to great lengths to hide relationships, for fear of "scandals", Agencies deny relationships- w/always saying "they're just good friends", etc..It's the culture.. .. ▶▶PLZ REACT to their eye-opening *FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS* 😊

Thank you for your reaction! BTS music speaks to us and touches our hearts. Many of their songs written/produced are so relatable to ARMY/FANS (Young & Old) coz they sang about Life Struggles, Self-Love, Mental Health, Social Taboos, Youth Problems, Motivation, Relationships, etc. Some ARMY said BTS has helped them to overcome their depressions, struggles, sickness and they survive because of these 7 hardworking, humble and talented young men. If you wish to know more about them, please watch these interesting videos links below. Sorry.... It's a lot. Hey, i just wanted to say that I came across your channel with the Mic Drop reaction. 1) I watched your first reaction. I don't get why ARMY got so pressed about what you said. Yes, you were critical but that's how it is at the first reaction. Personally, I appreciated your straight forward opinion. Either the wrong ARMYs are coming across your channel or they are seeing something that I am not. 2) A lot of other reaction channels have said a hell of a lot worse stuff when they first reacted to BTS and yet they get the most views. It's like as long as the person reacting gives the apology video, everything is forgiven. I saw nothing offensive, esp. considering literally every reaction channel has said the same things. 3) I am Jin-biased and yet I wasn't in the least offended by your comment on what you perceived as "being late." We don't see it that way. Jin had to work a lot harder to get to the level he is at now and I am glad you saw that. Your slight criticism only showed that you were actually paying attention. I hope this doesn't give you a bad perception on BTS and their fans. This is late but I've subscribed and hope to see more. If you do, you'll learn that we can be very supportive. (also to the hurt ARMYs who are gonna say I'm wrong. I would leave you links to the reaction channels that have done a lot worse and still get hella views, but I don't wanna give attention to them.)

I think the bigger problem are the actual 8 year olds and other preteen fans that can't decipher humor, sarcasm, etc.. There are plenty of exceptions, but there are a lot of immature fans that truly, simply, don't have enough life experience yet & react poorly to innocent comments. Add in the many different cultures of this global fandom😖

In most kpop groups, the members either try out for or are recruited by their record company. They must train for typically many years with many other trainees. They are given dancing, singing, rapping, and sometimes acting lessons. Only the best of the trainees make it past the training period and are put into a group to debut. In bts' case they would practice around 15 hours a day and this is very similar to other kpop idol groups. And in the smaller companies the idols must pay back the company for all these lesson, food, housing, etc while they were trainees. So any money they make from selling merch/albums/tickets/etc. goes directly to the company until they pay off their debts. The bigger companies do not do this but in the lesser known it seems to be common. Speaking of big companies, there are 3 companies that are known as the top 3 in south korea. They are YG, SM, and JYP. These 3 always have some of the top artists and make the most money. But as of recent, Bts' agency Big Hit has joined the top agencies due to their insane popularity.

BTS came from the basement to the apex of music around the world. The boys have been together for several year, also they still live together as brothers and friends, it started with their trainee days up until the present. If you still have questions regarding BTS ~ you can watch SquishyMinYoongi's videos about the seven members of BTS Our fandom (ARMY) has several million members that spans all of social media around the world. Why don't you do a reaction to all of BTS dance practice videos or one of my favorites BTS: Born Singer I enjoyed your reaction and I'm glad that you gave BTS a chance, that is all that we ask of anyone. Thank You!
