BTS have gone through a lot. They used to share one room because they never had a lot of money. and they were looked down upon. They’ve worked so hard to get where they are right now. Their message is so powerful. And I love it. I hope you guys continue reacting to them because over time I know you’ll become obsessed.

They were underdogs from day one. There's a power-hierarchy system in the music industry of South Korea and BTS has always been right at the bottom of the ladder. Countless people didn't think these boys would go far but despite everything, they worked and worked and worked to achieve what they have today. This one of the things that make them so loved. Nothing was given to them for free and they traded so much of the youth for their music. Their second full Korean album, Wings (2016), sold more than 1.5 million copies, making it BTS's first "million seller". In Korea they have sold over ten million albums, with five million sold in 2018. Known for their large social media presence, BTS were the most retweeted celebrities in the world for 2017 and 2018. In October 2016, Billboard placed BTS #1 on their Social 50 chart, another first for a Korean group. In May 2017, they won the Top Social Artist Award at the Billboard Music Awards, becoming the first Korean group to win a BBMA. On November 20, 2017, Guinness World Records revealed that BTS had earned a spot in their 2018 edition for "having the world's most Twitter engagements for a music group". In 2018, BTS became #1 on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list, which ranks South Korea's most powerful and influential celebrities. They also became the youngest ever recipients of the Order of Cultural Merit from the South Korean government. In September 2018, BTS gave a speech at the United Nations as ambassadors for UNICEF and announced "Generation Unlimited", a new campaign focused on "youth development with empowering messages". They were also featured on the cover of Time magazine's international edition as 'Next Generation Leaders'. In a December 2018 study conducted by the Hyundai Research Institute, it was revealed that BTS are worth more than $3.6 billion USD to South Korea's economy each year, and were the reason one in every 13 foreign tourists visited the country earlier that year. The septet co-writes and produces much of their output, to which some media outlets have attributed their success. Their music often features references to literature, paintings, and psychological concepts. In addition, there is an alternative universe storyline running through their music videos, called the BTS Universe, or BU. Some of the recurring themes that appear in their albums include mental health, the troubles of school-age youth, loss, the journey towards loving oneself, and individualism.

I would like to point some things: - RM studio is now called RKive. He has released 2 mixtapes: RM and mono, the most recent one. - RM helps/aims a lot the members who don't have writing/producing background. He helped V with 4 O'clock, also Jimin with Promise, Jungkook with Begins. He's actually the most credited member in BTS songs. He even made two songs for the members intro Serendipity (Jimin) and Singularity (Taehyung). - RM and Suga, both talk about self steam, struggles and loving yourself in their songs, but they have their own style. RM's is more poetic, his lyrics, uses metaphors, books references, wordplays. Suga's is more straight forward, like a story teller. - Also, both RM and Suga received criticism for leaving underground, but the one who received more hate was RM, as he was more known, and also because he was the leader. He had to deal with all of that even without being the oldest, he is middle guy of the group. That lead him to develop confidence and identity issues, not knowing if he was an artists who makes his music or just and idol for being in a 'kpop' group. - RM and Suga have lived the most time together. The 7 members still live together.

suga is not necessarily "angry" it's more he's just really blunt and likes to have a tough demeanor. He's also said he's bad at expressing emotion and a lot of people tend to think he's heartless. He's a cute lil kitten tho

thanks for watching this video. they're like brothers cuz they've been living together for around 8 years (debuted in 2013 but before they're together as trainees). Nowadays, some of them have bought their own apartment but till now they're still prefer living together. And yes, they're so talented by their own, that's why they also have solo songs and projects (the rappers' mixtapes). u can start by watching their old Mvs like DOPE, Fire and Danger and so on. live performances and dance practices are great too.

WE love BTS for their incredible chemistry and goofiness, not for their looks! That's what many non armys think. Also Namjoon is the best leader ever! You should react to a prank BTS pulled on him where Bang PD made him decide between BTS and his dream of a solo career. He immediately and without hesitating said "BTS. They are different but come together as one 💜 In Bon Voyage ( a 3 season series of the travelling around the world) Jin has also stated that for him the 6 other members are like a phone or a wallet. Whenever they're apart (holidays separate castings etc.) he feels nervous because for him it's normal to be with his members that relay touched my heart 💜

Usually I'm iffy of reaction videos because people usually react to BTS for clout etc. without putting effort or showing a lack of care about the hard work these boys put into their art. But the minute I watched your videos I could tell your sincerity, so I subbed straight away.

It's so nice of you to shout out to us! We love our boys, and we love to talk about them! We also love when people first find them! It reminds me so much of the way they fell into my life and really changed it for the better, both with their music, their adorable and amazing selves, and most of all, the fandom! It really is like a family, and we're always ready to welcome new members! It's an easy mistake to make, thinking it's mostly young females who like them -- that was my assumption too in the beginning (I'm 48. LOL). But ARMYs are literally from everywhere, speak every language, are of every race, religion, age group. We have LOTS of fanboys/men! There are entire generations of families who love BTS. Their messages are so positive and wonderful, you even see kids at some shows and especially here on YT. If you guys haven't watched RM's speech at the UN from last fall, you really need to! I cried. These guys are great, I can't wait for you guys to check out their live performances and individual albums. Its insane that they release individual albums which include mv's for free it's more of an appreciation/gifts to the fans. So their income only comes from their group activities and this is the formula why they stay together and no egos. This is also why their sales are through the roof as they give back as much as they receive

I'm glad you guys are looking into BTS. They're such a great group of extremely talented guys with such distinct styles, talents, and personalities. It's amazing how all of them can come together and be such an amazing group. Yoongi (SUGA) is my bias because we have so much in common and I relate to him the most because of my anxiety, depression, and OCD. BTS is a very unique kpop group because certain things they discuss like mental illness and depression aren't really things widely talked about. Their record label also allows members to produce, write, and release their own music. The three rappers have all released solo mixtapes (they're all SO different and so great in different ways) and there are also solo songs that the band releases on their albums and sub unites that display individual talent. BTS is a really easy to get to know group because they show so much of themselves.

they said they don't want to be labeled as any specific label but they don't care if people forced a specific label on them they still remain BTS, since they still cover so many music genres in one album
