I always say that was the best video. This one with Superman was off the charts. It was real. Answers were genuine. Love the honesty. Jonathan Davenport is now my favorite. He is the driver you dream of being. Jonathan Davenport deserves everything he has worked for. And just think, this guy is only 39.
Johnathan is a true class act in the racing world. He has made is way in the sport to be among the best like Bloomer and Moyer. And he has many more years to go and more races to win in his career as a driver. Thanks for that video. Keep up the great job Kenny.
First of all this was a great interview,JD has earned his way in dirt racing and anybody can tell he's true to the sport.Ive watched him race at Fayetteville North Carolina and Dublin North Carolina and win or lose he is the same.He has a good point about the facilities at most dirt tracks, that they need to clean up their act.The question he answered about Bloomquist and Moyer was spot on,I think JD or Superman would be an outstanding ambassador for the sport and he has earned it.Kenny thanks for sharing...
This is just one of the best conversations I've heard so far. I love dirt and asphalt racing with a passion for life that comes with the chase. Keep up the great work ❤️ 👍
I got cold chills when he said Bloomquist…. He didn’t hesitate. Always loved to root against Bloomquist, but deep down inside I always knew he was the guy. Cool interview!
I went to the Show Me 100 this year, and every driver there was saying that Jonathan Davenport was the one to beat. He put on one hell of a show there this year. I didn't get an opportunity to talk to Jonathan as he didn't finish the race as I was told he ran out of fuel. Ricky Thornton Jr. won, then disqualified due to failing the droop rule. Jonathan had the car to beat. Congratulations to him for winning the Dream.
Awesome and thanks for bringing it to us and this is just a observation love JD because he's hard to read and sometimes it like he's looking right through you without any emotions at all calm cool and collective he's the man
I'm glad Macon Speedway is getting a face lift it was way over due and needed it was sad the condition and state it was in! This new track owner was the best thing for that racetrack!
Great conversation Kenny. You can really get a decent gauge on people in longer formats like this and you can tell JD is a good dude. Has a really calm demeanor that I think comes across as pompous or arrogant to people who don't know of him and just know what he's accomplished, but in reality he's just a chill guy and humble and trying not to act no better than anyone else.
The only other channel that is this in-depth is @Stapleton42 Which, coincidentally, Kenny is by far, the greatest guest, in my opinion, on their channel! 😂 Comes full circle 😂😂😂 GREAT JOB HERMAN! Thank you for all you do, you too @Stapleton42
@@KennyWallace36 yes sir! He's very into his way of life! Being a fan of everything racing, makes him a great interviewer! He actually wants to know about the things that his audience wants to know about. He's 100% committed to being a fan and that makes him 100% committed to bringing his audience back to his channel. I want to personally thank you for making your life so accessible my friend. You have made this guy smile more times than you can imagine! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY KENNY! YOU TRULY ARE ONE OF MY HEROS! 🙏❤️✌️
you do a lot of cool things Mr. Wallace but this tops all, this is for the books especially because you asked the right Questions and Jonathan was feeling good completely honest, thank you for that !
GREAT CONVERSATION WITH JD , I WISH WHEN Y'ALL WERE TALKING BOUT KEVIN RUMLEY AND THE #6 CAR, Y'ALL WOULD OF BROUGHT UP LEROY RUMLEY NAME 🏁🏁🏁 HE WAS A GENIUS WHEN IT CAME TO BUILDING DIRT LATE MODELS AND BUILDING THE HIGH HORSEPOWER ENGINES 🏁🏁🏁 KEVIN HAD A GREAT TEACHER 🏁🏁 GREAT INTERVIEW GO HERMAN & GO #49 SUPERMAN , BOTH ARE 💯'S
Kenny. . This is your calling as you mature in age..doing these interviews..but you still a dang good wheel man on dirt..do you ever want to drive dirt late model as well..keep videos coming.
Lr hiked up was a thing back in the early 2000s. GRT was real big on it back then. Ronnie Stuckey was an genius with the 4 bar birdcages back in the day.
I have learned so much about dirt racing watching this interview. I don't even watch dirt racing and have heard his name floating around. HOWEVER, I actually want to start getting into the sport. When are the races and what channel/streaming service is it on? It always looked interesting to me but never found the time to watch it
My gosh Kenny, what a great interview. One car for Eldora only. Who else does that? Davenport certainly has it now. How long he'll have it. Nobody knows. Just takes one big boo boo to make it go away. Hammer down JD, you've got it. I'm totally against leveling the playing field. That's one of the main things that have messed up NASCAR. It limits progress and innovation.
My friends and I have been going to the dream and World for about 11-12 years now. Davenport is turning into Bloomquist at Eldora. If he’s in the race, don’t bet against him
One thing about Moyer is they didn't have as many of the bigger races in the early part of his career and bloomer came along when they did have all the big races
I don't see you out there racing with them if so what's your name and number I think they are probably running and doing better than you keep hating hater. Clay from mobile Alabama
i was under the impression when the right front dropped in the turns raising the left rear pulled the left rear forward to give the car rear steer in the turns
While you implied that using a porta pottie was above standards for your family and dirt race fans, remember that all the people you praise (military) are lucky to have a porta pottie
I believe Moyer had bout 3 different chassis with his name on it . That he helped design oh btw Jonathan check the record books on who has won more big money races it’s not a secret and easy to find . Moyer is the goat no questions asked . 🤣🤣🤣
Kenny, never take pepto bismal,i enjoy your diareia of the mouth lol, heard that when you were nascar years ago and it flows lol, just let it go kenny because your the best aside from tony Smoke Stewart when it comes to saying how you feel .
I agree that local race tracks should have better facilities for guests…they absolutely should, but be mindful how you explain your thoughts because you sounded condescending, and I know that’s not Kenny, I love Kenny’s podcasts…
Something that kills local dirt tracks, is time. Majority of these shows could be done by 11pm. And your their till 1am or later. Due to wasted time. My local track, I swear the wrecker crews add an extra hour to the night, not knowing how to hook the damn car up, and get them off the track. Lots of wasted time with nothing happening, or waiting on cars to come to the track. Instead of telling them your either on the track when we start, or your not racing.
Really like your cost and mental on what it cost to race the cheaper races it like any else you do if like it you have a day job but a lot of people think you make money I was in drag race for long time what if any may have paid for the fuel
3 different compounds. Mount them and go. Teams shouldn’t have touch them. Mind blowing these tire manufacturers can’t make a tire that’s already grooved and shit, that can just be bolted on. Guess it makes to much sense
